When you've just had a baby, managing nappies can be quite a hefty task. It's perfectly normal to want the best for your child in terms of quality, but this can be costly and isn't always easy to find in supermarkets.

To make life easier for young parents, Joone offers a subscription service for natural nappies and nappy pants, delivered straight to your door. I tried out this service for you and I'm here to share my experience!

👉 The reduction in the number of nappies per pack is due to the fact that the older your child gets, the fewer nappies they will need.

Can you choose between nappies and nappy pants?

Of course! Joone offers you 3 subscription options:

You can choose to use only nappies or just nappy pants. However, what the brand Joone recommends is to mix nappies and nappy pants. This third option includes, in each package, 3 packs of nappy pants and 1 pack of nappies.

👉 For my part, I initially used standard nappies when my son was born, but as soon as he began crawling at around 7 months, I switched to a mix of nappies and nappy pants. At night, I would put him in standard nappies, while during the day, I preferred nappy pants to allow for easier movement as he learned to walk.

Can we customise the nappies?

Absolutely, and that's one of the unique features of Joone! Their nappies are lovely, with original designs that are perfect for babies. When you place your order, you can choose 3 patterns from those available!

Can you add other products to your subscription?

Yes: it is possible to add Joone wipes with organic olive oil or water for an additional £5 a month. It's economical, as a single purchase costs £9.90. You can also add a baby face cream to your order, for example, outside of your subscription.

👉 Personally, I use very few wipes, so I have never tried Joone wipes, but they do seem to be of great quality, much like the rest of their products. These are biodegradable wipes, made with 99% natural ingredients, which is really reassuring. 😉

The brand collaborates with small and medium-sized enterprises and pays particular attention to ensuring the quality of its products throughout the entire process.

Are Joone nappies really "natural" as the brand claims?

On its website, Joone promises nappies made from 100% natural materials for the absorbent padding and what comes into contact with the skin, which is far healthier than the typical nappies found in supermarkets, for example. Their latest product, the "Origine" nappy, has been designed to be as healthy as possible.

👉 Personally, I use the Yuka app quite a lot, which helps determine whether a food or hygiene product is good for your health. What reassured me about Joone is that their nappies receive a score of 100 / 100 on this app, meaning they contain absolutely no harmful substances!

Who is the Joone Nappy Subscription For?

This subscription system is very convenient for parents who want to save time and avoid filling their car boot with nappies when they go to the supermarket. By having everything delivered directly to their homes, they always have an adequate supply for the baby. Moreover, being able to return any excess nappies for a refund is quite handy and prevents waste.

However, what truly sets Joone's nappies apart from others, in my view, is the brand's commitment to baby health and ecology. To conclude this reflection on my experience with Joone, I would like to share a brief and honest account of what I liked and did not like about this brand.

I discovered Joone while researching the quality and composition of nappies following the birth of my son, after watching a report that suggested that nappies from major brands could contain toxic substances. Initially, I was hesitant to switch to reusable nappies, but since I work and my son often goes to nursery, I thought it would be quite complicated.

When I discovered the Joone website, I was reassured by the brand's transparency regarding the composition of their nappies and the other baby products they sell. My first order went very smoothly. My son was 4 months old at the time and weighed about 7 kilograms, so I opted for size 3 nappies, which were a perfect fit.
