How does Joone work?
Joone is a subscription service that allows you to receive nappies tailored for your child, delivered directly to your home or to a collection point, as often as you prefer.
What nappy sizes can you order from Joone?
To support your child from birth to potty training, Joone offers you 6 sizes of nappies:
- Size 1: 2 to 4 kilograms,
- Size 2: 3 to 5 kilograms,
- Size 3: 4 to 8 kilograms,
- Size 4: 7 to 14 kilograms,
- Size 5: 10 to 18 kilograms,
- Size 6: 6 to 30 kilograms.
👉 If your baby is growing up or if you have two little ones, you can mix the sizes! 😉
How many nappies are in a Joone pack?
The number of nappies sent depends on the size selected:
- Size 1: 180, which is 3 packs of 60,
- Size 2: 192, which is 3 packs of 64,
- Size 3: 162, which is 3 packs of 54,
- Size 4: 144, which is 3 packs of 48,
- Size 5: 120, which is 3 packs of 40,
- Size 6: 114, which is 3 packs of 38.
👉 The decrease in the number of nappies per pack is due to the fact that the older your child gets, the fewer nappies they will need.
Can you choose between nappies and pull-up pants?
Of course! Joone offers you 3 subscription options:
It is possible to choose only nappies or only pull-ups. However, what the brand Joone recommends is to mix nappies and pull-ups. This third option consists of, in each parcel, 3 packs of pull-ups and 1 pack of nappies.
👉 In my case, I opted for traditional nappies when my son was born, but as soon as he started crawling at around 7 months old, I switched to a mix of nappies and nappy pants. At night, I would put regular nappies on him, while during the day, I preferred nappy pants to help with his movement and to support his learning to walk.
Can we customise nappies?
Absolutely, and that's one of the special features of Joone! Their nappies are delightful, with unique designs that are perfect for babies. When you place your order, you can choose 3 patterns from those available!
The lovely seasonal designs of Joone nappies... and there are plenty more!
👉 I often find myself talking about Joone when people see my baby's nappies: the lovely patterns spark a lot of questions!
What is the frequency of diaper deliveries?
The delivery frequency is adjustable, so you’ll never run out of nappies but won't receive too many either. Here are the options available:
👉 If you have used more nappies than expected, you can definitely reach out to Joone for an exceptional delivery! On the other hand, if you have too many nappies and you have some unopened packs left, you can return them to Joone for a refund!
Can you add other products to your subscription?
Yes: it is possible to add Joone wipes with organic olive oil or water for an additional R5 per month. This is cost-effective, as purchasing them individually costs R9.90. You can also add baby face cream to your order outside of the subscription, for example.
For just R100 a month, receive 3 packs of 32 Joone wipes!
👉 Personally, I hardly use wipes, so I’ve never tried Joone wipes, but they do seem, like the rest of the products, to be of high quality. These are biodgradable wipes, with 99% natural origin ingredients, which is really reassuring. 😉
Joone: Are the nappies really eco-friendly and safe for baby’s health?
One of Joone's major communication points is the production of their nappies, made with natural ingredients. I'll go into detail about this in the following lines! 😉
Where are Joone nappies made?
Joone nappies are made in France, specifically in Épinal, for their "iconic" nappies. The Origine nappy is produced in Denmark, using exclusively European materials. The brand collaborates with small and medium-sized enterprises and pays special attention to ensuring the quality of its products.
🌍 The factory where Origine nappies are produced runs entirely on renewable energy!
The Joone team is very transparent about how this nappy is made:

Are Joone nappies really "natural" as the brand claims?
On their website, Joone promises nappies made from 100% natural materials for the absorbent pad and what comes into contact with the skin, which is much healthier than the regular nappies found in supermarkets, for example. Their latest product, the "Origine" nappy, has been designed to be as healthy as possible.

👉 Personally, I use the Yuka app quite a lot, which helps to determine whether a food or hygiene product is healthy. What reassured me about Joone is that their nappies receive a score of 100 / 100 on this app, meaning that they contain absolutely no harmful ingredients!
Who is the Joone nappy subscription for?
This subscription system is very convenient for parents who want to save time and avoid filling their car boot with nappies when they go to the supermarket. By having everything delivered straight to your home, you always have the necessary stock for your baby. Additionally, the option to return any excess nappies for a refund is quite handy and helps reduce waste.
However, what really sets Joone nappies apart from others, in my opinion, is the brand's commitment to baby health and the environment. If you care about providing the best for your child, ensuring they start their life using healthy products with a minimal impact on the environment, Joone is definitely worth considering.

👉 Personally, I hesitated for a long time about using reusable nappies, but they really weren't practical for me. With Joone, I've found the perfect compromise, as the nappies I use are healthy for my son's wellbeing and also easy to incorporate into my busy daily life as a mom!
What is the price of Joone nappies?
Currently, Joone is offering a launch deal at R1,200.00 for a pack of nappies. Typically, the price for Joone nappies is R1,300.00 per month, which translates to a cost per nappy of:
Size | Child's Weight | Price per Nappy |
1 | 2 - 4 kg | R7.80 |
2 | 3 - 5 kg | R7.20 |
3 | 4 - 8 kg | R8.50 |
4 | 7 - 14 kg | R9.00 |
5 | 10 - 18 kg | R11.00 |
6 | 16 - 30 kg | R11.80 |
📦 The delivery fees are, of course, included in the price!
Can I gift a Joone subscription? 🎁
Absolutely! If you go to the section "DIAPERS", then "DIAPER SUBSCRIPTION", and scroll down a bit on the page, you will find an option that says "GIFT A SUBSCRIPTION".
This allows you to access a form that enables you to offer a subscription to new parents, helping them in the early months or years of their baby's life.
The duration is 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months and parents can choose the appropriate nappy size for their child, as well as the designs.
Parents can receive an email immediately informing them about their gift, or you could present it to them yourself later on during a special occasion, for example.
👉 You can also give a gift voucher from Joone, which parents can use to buy exactly what they need (nappies, baby products, etc.).
How to give a Joone gift card?
You can find it in the "BABY GIFTS AND GIFT SETS" section under "BABY".
Source: Joone's website
Three amounts are available: R 900, R 1,440, and R 2,520. Once you purchase the gift card, it will be emailed to you, and you can print it out. It provides you with a code that can be entered in the "promo code or gift card" field during checkout to apply the corresponding discount. It can be used multiple times and is valid for one year.
Want to make a statement? Gift a Joone baby gift set!
The brand offers kits designed for young parents to care for their baby and explore Joone products. This includes nappies, of course, where you can choose the size and designs, as well as products like wipes or liniment. The website features a wide range of options, here are a few examples:
👉 There are many other Joone gift sets available, including a changing bag, a travel pouch, clothing...! Personally, I'm really tempted by these gift kits in case a baby is born in my circle, as they allow parents to discover Joone products and are truly delightful.
Discover the other products offered by Joone
As I mentioned earlier, Joone doesn't just make nappies! They are a brand that has specialised in creating hygiene products for babies and moms. Let me quickly introduce their range, which I’m really a fan of!
For baby 👶
Joone offers a range of essential hygiene products for when you have a baby: liniment, cleansing gel, moisturising milk, nappy cream, cotton pads, wipes, suitable shampoo... All products are made according to Joone's strict standards to ensure your child's health is protected.
You'll also find lovely clothing on the website, featuring the simple and timeless style that defines the brand:
For slightly older kids 👦👧
Joone supports your child in learning about toilet training with their first underwear. The brand offers 100% cotton pants and boxers, made in France.
I also invite you to explore the "My 1st..." range that I've just started using with my son. These are natural hygiene products tailored to the specific needs of young children.
For the mum or the soon-to-be mum 🤰🤱
Joone also thinks of us, the mothers, with products dedicated to pregnancy, as well as specific care that follows childbirth. From their range, I particularly noted:
- A stretch mark care kit for R1,200,
- A hair supplement to help regrow hair after childbirth for R450,
- Infusions to support breastfeeding for R250.
The brand also offers natural and eco-friendly intimate hygiene products, in keeping with the ethos of its baby products.
🎁 Because we don’t always think of the specific needs of new mums, I believe that giving these products can be a brilliant idea. Joone offers gift sets similar to those for babies, but these are specifically designed for their mums! 😉

Joone is a brand that is very transparent about the quality and crafting of its products. However, to determine whether they truly meet your expectations, particularly from a practical standpoint, the best approach is to research customer reviews. To save you time, I conducted an investigation for this article and I'm providing you with a summary of the feedback I was able to find! 😉

❌ They liked it less:
- Issues with leaks that can occur for babies who sleep on their tummy,

About Trustpilot
On this platform, there are currently 16 reviews, with an average score of 3.5 / 5.
There is a fairly high proportion of satisfied customers with the quality of the nappies, their practicality, the designs, and the fact that they are beneficial for their baby's health.
Un satisfied customers don’t complain about the quality of the nappies, but rather about the products for mothers: supplements, moisturisers... which they feel are not as effective as those from other brands. There are also some concerns regarding delivery (particularly delays), but this affects only a very small percentage of customers.

Is Joone a scam?
Joone (SAS Noo Corp) is a French start-up founded by Carole Juge-Llewellyn in 2017. The brand has experienced significant success and is now present in over 28 countries.
In 2017, the brand published a toxicological analysis of its nappies to assure customers that they were safe for babies. This effort was recognized when the association 60 million consumers named Joone the best disposable nappy brand in 2018.
Indeed, Joone nappies are Ecocert certified (organic farming) and have received numerous labels confirming their quality:
From a customer relationship perspective, the brand can be reached through social media or via an online form on the website. Unfortunately, there is still no telephone customer service available at this time, but the Joone team appears to be quite responsive.
✅ Joone is a French brand that has seen considerable success in recent years, offering great transparency regarding the composition of its products. So, you can order without hesitation!
My verdict on Joone ⭐⭐⭐⭐
To wrap up my thoughts on my experience with Joone, I'd like to share a brief and honest reflection on what I liked and didn't like about this brand.
I discovered Joone while researching diaper quality and their composition after the birth of my son, following a report that indicated that well-known brands might contain toxic substances. Initially, I was hesitant to switch to reusable nappies, but since I work and my son often attends daycare, I thought it would be quite complicated.
When I discovered Joone's website, I was reassured by the brand's transparency regarding the ingredients in their nappies and other baby products they offer. My first order went very smoothly. My son was 4 months old at the time and weighed around 7 kilograms, so I opted for size 3 nappies, which were a perfect fit.
Compared to major supermarket brands, I didn't notice any difference in leakage, but I quickly realised that my baby's redness had decreased since I started using Joone nappies. These days, I order about one pack a month, which works perfectly for me. As my son is turning one soon, I had to change sizes, and it went really well because there's the option to mix sizes.
I love customizable patterns that are playful for children and that everyone finds adorable. For my orders, I chose a mix of nappy pants and traditional nappies: I put the nappy pants on my baby during the day and use traditional nappies for nighttime and naps.
Finally, I’m just starting to test the first toothpaste and the first cleansing foam launched by Joone. So far, I find these products really pleasant to use and they are very well tolerated by my baby's skin.
✅ In conclusion, I plan to stay with Joone until my son is fully potty trained. Even though the nappies are a bit more expensive, the quality is definitely noticeable, and I feel reassured by their ingredients. I would recommend them 100%!
