The products are sourced from well-known beauty brands, mostly popular in the UK, where the LookFantastic concept originated. Among these, you'll find several luxury brands, such as Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Lacoste...

Each box contains 6 products and an explanatory magazine (in English!) that guides you on how to use them. These may include:

Is there a Lookfantastic gift card? 🎁

Unfortunately, Lookfantastic still does not offer this type of product. It's quite disappointing because a subscription to this box would make a wonderful surprise for your sister, friend, or beauty-loving mom.

However, since there is no customization questionnaire, you have the option to register someone of your choice by selecting the duration of their subscription, and by replacing your delivery address with theirs.

👉 In this context, a prepaid subscription is quite convenient, but it seems to me that you still need to uncheck the automatic renewal option in your account settings to prevent it from renewing.

My Verdict on the Lookfantastic Box

Before trying the box, the brand Lookfantastic was somewhat unknown to me. When I heard about beauty boxes, I usually thought of MyLittleBox, Blissim, or Glossybox... However, I was tempted to try this one because the prices of the products on the site were really appealing. Additionally, there were products that were hard to find elsewhere.

I subscribed for six months to try out the box. The price is slightly higher than other boxes, but I understood why when I received my packages: in each box, there was at least one full-size product. Moreover, while competitors offer boxes with 5 to 6 products, Lookfantastic guarantees 6. So it's definitely more appealing!

I was overall satisfied with the products received: they are from well-known brands, including some that I use daily (Nuxe, Caudalie), and are suitable for most skin and hair types, even the most sensitive. However, I did wish that it was possible to customize my profile to receive makeup that matches my skin tone, for example.

I also appreciated the packaging of the gift sets and the reliability of the shipping. I was a bit worried since it's a company that isn't based in Canada, but the products are very well packaged and they arrive quickly.
