Would you like to have beautiful hair? Are you worried about its vitality? For many of us, having lovely hair is a key part of our self-confidence. When it becomes dull or if you're losing a lot of hair, it can be a source of concern.
After experiencing a hair loss, I began testing Luxeol products four months ago, thanks to the personalised box offered by this brand. I can now share whether it has worked: let me take you through the Luxeol box and my thoughts on it in the following paragraphs!

- The shine and strength of my hair,
- The savings offered by the box on Luxeol products,
- Discover a box dedicated solely to hair wellness.
❌ What I Liked Less
- The Satisfaction or Money Back Guarantee doesn't apply to the box,
- No option to pause my subscription for a month,
- No gift card system.
How does the Luxeol box work?
When searching for products to care for our hair, it can sometimes be difficult to choose the ones that suit us. Moreover, as shampoos don’t run out at the same rate as dietary supplements, we constantly need to repurchase products.
To make life easier for you, the brand Luxeol, which specialises in hair care, now offers a subscription to a personalised box. This is the product I was able to test for four months: each month, I received the box directly in my letterbox, containing a selection of two or three products tailored to my hair concerns.
Based on the results from the questionnaire you filled out during your registration, you may have products specifically tailored for your hair:
- Men 👨 or women 👩
- Long, mid-length or short,
- Straight, curly, wavy or frizzy,
- Damaged by heat from straighteners or curling irons,
- Natural, curled with a perm, coloured or highlighted,
- Greasy or dry,
- With dandruff...
Luxeol also specialises in the fight against hair loss, which can be a source of anxiety for many men and women. The profile questionnaire allows you to assess your hair loss and regrowth, so that you can receive products specifically tailored to your situation.
👉 Don’t fancy taking tablets? The Luxeol box caters to your preferences by asking you at the end of the hair profile questionnaire what type of dietary supplement you prefer. This way, the offer is tailored to present you with either:
- Capsules that can be swallowed with water,
- A drinkable supplement,
- Gummies, which are small chewy sweets.
The Luxeol box is subject to a 4-month commitment period. Once this period is over, you can cancel at any time. This makes it ideal for a hair care treatment, which typically lasts between 4 and 6 months.
Who is Luxeol for?
The Luxeol box is suitable for both men and women. As mentioned earlier, the products address most hair-related issues.
This subscription system is therefore suitable for:
- For those who are not happy with their hair and want to take care of it using a trusted brand,
- For individuals experiencing reactive hair loss, baldness, or androgenetic alopecia,
- For anyone seeking a comprehensive hair care solution without the hassle of choosing between products,
- For those who would love to try Luxeol treatments but find the products too expensive.
How much does Luxeol cost?
The Luxeol box offers a competitive price for the first month at just €9.90. After that, each month costs €29.90. This price includes the following:
- Hair diagnosis,
- On average, 3 Luxeol products, retail size, tailored for your hair,
- Free delivery.
👉 To summarise, the prices for Luxeol box are very straightforward:

What’s in the Luxeol box?
To help you better picture what’s in this box, I’d like to share the contents of the four boxes I’ve received so far.
🔸 My Needs: Strengthening My Hair After Shedding
After suffering from a rather exhausting COVID infection at the start of winter, I began to notice that my hair had become much more brittle and lacked its usual shine. I was also losing a lot of hair while styling it in the morning. After confirming with my doctor that this hair loss wasn’t serious, I started looking for a comprehensive treatment to restore my hair to how it was a few months ago. That’s when I decided to try the Luxeol box.
🔸 My first box: everything I need to strengthen my hair
In this box, I received:
- A fortifying shampoo, which I applied to my hair two to three times a week, leaving it on before rinsing. As the shampoo is of good quality, only a small amount is needed.
- A anti-hair loss conditioner to complement the shampoo by specifically targeting hair loss. This product should be left on for 5 minutes, but it's very pleasant to use.
- Strength and growth gummies to help my hair grow back, featuring a natural ingredient: horsetail. Made in France, these gummies taste like delicious sweets, making them very easy to take!
🤑 In total, with this box, I've made a savings of €44.80! If I had purchased my products separately from the Luxeol website or at a pharmacy, it would have cost me over €50.
🔸 My second box: care products to protect my hair
In my second box, I received some lovely products to pamper my hair and restore its natural shine:
- A gentle shampoo, which I use alternately with the strengthening shampoo, to avoid irritating my scalp,
- A strengthening mask, which I apply once a week for ten minutes, to boost the strength of my hair,
- Castor oil, which I can apply to both my hair and nails, as they were weakened! It has been really effective and they have become more resilient in just a few weeks,
- A surprise gift, some solar oil to protect my hair from the first rays of the sun, much appreciated in this lovely early spring!
🤑 With this box, I've saved €14.80!
🔸 My third box: to continue the hair care journey
When I received my third box, I discovered:
- A repairing shampoo, which I use after returning from the pool or when my hair has been weakened by straightening or blow-drying,
- A fortifying conditioner, which has replaced the anti-hair loss conditioner from the first box that I had finished,
- Hair loss capsules, to be taken daily with a glass of water, for thirty days. By this point, I had already noticed a reduction in my hair loss, and this product has therefore enhanced the effects of the previous ones.
🤑 With this box, I've also saved €14.80!
🔸 My fourth box: for long eyelashes and perfecting my hair care
This is the box I received this month. To my surprise, there were not 3 products as expected, but only 2. This is because the lash serum is quite an expensive product, costing nearly €40.
I was quite surprised to receive a lash product in a box meant for hair, but this serum applies like mascara to enhance the density and length of your lashes, which indeed complements beautiful hair! I haven't used it enough yet to comment on its effectiveness, but I'm very pleased with its practicality.
In this box, I also received a fortifying shampoo similar to the one from the first set, but this one wasn’t solid. It's much easier to carry for a weekend away or a trip to the pool, and so far, I’m really pleased with how effective this shampoo is.
🤑 With this box, I've saved €19.90!
🔸 A quick overview of my 4 Luxeol boxes: Should I continue or stop?
I really enjoyed receiving this hair care routine in a box format, as it allowed me to try out a variety of products that were suited to my hair (and even my eyelashes!).
🤑 I've also made some great savings, nearly €100 in total!
I believe I will therefore continue for at least another two months, in order to stabilise the effects of the treatment and care. Since the subscription can now be cancelled at any time for me, that works perfectly.

Another Option: Order a Luxeol Hair Care Routine
If you're not keen on the idea of a subscription box, you can order the products individually from the Luxeol website. You have the option to order just the dietary supplements, or you can enhance your treatment with a shampoo and other care products for added effectiveness.
In the case of a routine, Luxeol sorts its products by "concern". This refers to issues related to your hair that you want to address. For example, this could include:
- Reduce hair loss,
- Encourage hair growth,
- Strengthen brittle hair,
- Thicken and promote eyelash growth,
- Repair and protect damaged hair,
- Shield your hair from the sun,
- Treat oily hair, dandruff, or combat grey hair.
When it comes to dietary supplements and topical lotions, Luxeol offers multi-month treatments, with prices decreasing based on quantities purchased.
Luxeol treatment to combat hair loss, available on the brand's website for a duration of 1, 6, or 12 months
✅ If you don't want to commit to a 4-month subscription box, you can purchase a Luxeol treatment directly, but this will usually be more expensive than if you chose to go through the subscription box to get the products.
Can you gift a Luxeol box?
Are you looking to gift a Luxeol subscription to someone in your life? At the moment, the brand does not offer a gift card. Therefore, you'll need to subscribe the person as if it were for yourself, and then cancel the subscription whenever you wish.
Additionally, it’s not very practical, as the person has to fill out the profile questionnaire themselves to receive customised products. I would recommend giving a "voucher for a Luxeol subscription" and assisting the recipient with the sign-up process instead.
➡️ Who is Luxeol for?
For the reasons mentioned earlier, I would recommend gifting Luxeol to someone close to you: your best friend or a family member, for example. Given the personal nature of issues related to hair loss (such as post-pregnancy changes, stress, hereditary baldness, or androgenetic alopecia...), I suggest giving this gift to someone who wishes to have shinier hair and explore new products, rather than focusing on battling hair loss. However, there's nothing stopping you from recommending this box to someone who may benefit from it!

Are Luxeol products effective? Find out what customers think!
For treatment products like those offered by Luxeol, customer reviews are crucial: they help us understand if the products deliver on their promises and are worth the investment. Let's take a look at what people are saying about the Luxeol brand! 😉
On the Luxeol Website
Luxeol has chosen to entrust the management of its customer reviews to the platform Avis Vérifiés. This means that all the reviews found on the site are from people who have ordered and tested the products. Overall, these reviews are typically very positive, with ratings above 4 out of 5 for the various products and an overall score of 9.4 out of 10 for Luxeol as a whole:
👉 However, we regret that there is no dedicated review section specifically for the Luxeol Box, to provide feedback not just on the quality of the products but also on the quality of the service.
💚 What our customers loved:
- Fast delivery (for some),
- The affordable prices of products, especially during sales,
- The effectiveness of the products for both hair growth and hair loss,
- The customer service that is "very attentive",
- The user-friendly design of the website.

Example of a positive review from the Verified Reviews site
❌ They enjoyed it less
- The prices are sometimes higher on the site than in the pharmacy,
- In the box: too many shampoos,
- Delays with some orders,
- In the box: the eyelash serum, considered unnecessary by some customers.
Example of a mixed review from the Verified Reviews site
About Trustpilot
You can also find reviews on Trustpilot, even though the brand hasn't claimed its profile on that platform and doesn't encourage its customers to leave reviews there.
The rating given by customers is 3.4 out of 5, which is average. However, upon reading the reviews, it’s clear that there are very few customer reviews, specifically 4, so it is not representative.

Can we trust Luxeol or is it a scam?
Luxeol is a French hair care and dietary supplement brand that has been around since 2016. In its introduction, the company promises to listen to its customers and designs the majority of its products in France.
Luxeol is a brand from Nutravalia, a company based in Mougins in the Alpes-Maritimes region. It is listed on the Société.com website, which catalogues all French companies:

When it comes to the ingredients in their products, Luxeol is highly transparent and provides an online list of ingredients for each product, which can be reassuring for those who are sensitive or allergic.
Before being sold, every product undergoes testing. Furthermore, the brand revealed in a Facebook post from 2018 that their entire range is cruelty-free, meaning not tested on animals.
The company can be contacted through a standard customer service phone line and an email address. However, it doesn't seem to respond publicly to reviews left by customers, whether they are positive or negative.

My Verdict on Luxeol
Following my hair loss due to Covid, I had high hopes for the Luxeol brand. By choosing this box, I was looking for a personalised treatment to help me regain my hair volume and maintain its shine.
🧡 In the first two months, I didn’t notice any major changes. However, I really enjoyed using the products, especially the shampoos that had a lovely fragrance. The gummies also tasted quite nice, making it much more enjoyable to take my supplements.
💛 From the third month, I noticed that my hair was shinier than before. It had also grown a bit more than usual.
💙 Finally, today, after four months of treatment, I’m delighted to see the regrowth of fine hair at the front of my scalp, the ones often referred to as baby hairs! My hair is shiny and less greasy, and I’m enjoying using the Luxeol products.
I could cancel today, but I plan to continue the treatment for another two months to help my hair recover properly. I'm happy with the products I've chosen, but spending €29.90 every month on my hair is a bit beyond my budget.
I remain a bit skeptical about the eyelash product I received a month ago, which hasn't worked wonders so far. Moreover, I don't really have any specific issues with my eyelashes, so it wasn't particularly necessary.
I also find that the box contains quite a lot of shampoos, almost one each month, which is a bit excessive. I would have liked to be able to pause it for a month so I could use my own products before receiving new ones, but unfortunately, that's not possible.
Finally, I would have liked to provide feedback on each Luxeol box so that the brand could adjust the contents of my box according to the changing condition of my hair.
✅To sum up, I enjoyed the savings made through the box on Luxeol products (over €100!), their quality, and their effectiveness. I would have liked the money-back guarantee offered on the site to also apply to the box, as that would have been more reassuring.
