Would you like to have beautiful hair? Are you worried about its vitality? For many of us, having gorgeous locks is a key part of our self-confidence. When our hair loses its shine or when we experience significant hair loss, it can be a cause for concern.
After experiencing a hair loss, I started testing Luxeol products four months ago, thanks to the custom box offered by this brand. I can now share whether it worked for me: let me take you through the Luxeol box and my thoughts on it in the following sections!

- The shine and strength of my hair,
- The discount offered by the box on Luxeol products,
- Discover a box specifically dedicated to hair wellness.
❌ What I Liked Less
- The Satisfaction or Money Back guarantee does not apply to the box,
- No option to pause my subscription for a month,
- No gift card system.
How Does the Luxeol Box Work?
When looking for products to care for your hair, it can sometimes be difficult to choose the ones that suit you best. Plus, as shampoos don't run out at the same rate as dietary supplements, you constantly have to repurchase products.
To make your life easier, the brand Luxeol, which specialises in hair care, now offers you a subscription to a customised box. This is the product I was able to test for four months: each month, I received the box directly in my letterbox, with a selection of two or three products tailored to my hair care needs.
Based on the results from the questionnaire you completed during registration, you may have hair care products specifically for you:
- Men 👨 or women 👩
- Long, medium, or short,
- Straight, wavy, curly, or coily,
- Damaged by heat from straighteners or curling irons,
- Natural, curly with a perm, coloured, or highlighted,
- Oily or dry,
- With dandruff...
Luxeol also specialises in battling hair loss, which can be a source of distress for many men and women. The profile questionnaire allows you to assess your hair loss and regrowth, so you can receive products specifically tailored to your situation.
👉 Not a fan of tablets? The Luxeol box caters to your preferences by asking you at the end of the hair profile questionnaire which type of dietary supplement you prefer. This way, the offer is tailored to provide you with either:
- Capsules that you swallow with water,
- A drinkable supplement,
- Gummies, which are like little chewy sweets.
The Luxeol box comes with a 4-month commitment period. Once this period is completed, you have the option to cancel at any time. This makes it ideal for a hair treatment course, which typically lasts between 4 and 6 months.
Who is Luxeol for?
The Luxeol box is suitable for both men and women. As mentioned earlier, the products address most hair-related issues.
This subscription system is suitable for:
- To those who are not happy with their hair and wish to take care of it with a trusted brand,
- To those who are suffering from reactive hair loss, baldness, or androgenetic alopecia,
- To people looking for a comprehensive hair care solution without the hassle of choosing,
- To those who would like to try Luxeol but find the products too pricey.
How much does Luxeol cost?
The Luxeol box offers a competitive price for the first month, available at just $9.90. After that, each month costs $29.90. This price includes the following:
- The hair diagnosis,
- On average, 3 Luxeol products, retail size, tailored for your hair,
- Free delivery.
👉 To summarise, the pricing for Luxeol box is very straightforward:

What’s Included in the Luxeol Box?
To help you get a better idea of what this box includes, I’ll share the contents of the four boxes I've received so far.
🔸 My needs: Strengthening my hair after hair loss
After experiencing a rather exhausting COVID infection at the beginning of winter, I noticed that my hair had become much more fragile and lost its shine. I was also shedding a lot of hair during my morning styling routine. After checking with my doctor to confirm that this hair loss was not serious, I began searching for a comprehensive treatment to restore my hair to how it was a few months ago. That’s when I decided to try the Luxeol box.
🔸 My first box: everything I need to strengthen my hair
In this box, I received:
- A fortifying shampoo, which I applied to my hair two to three times a week, leaving it on before rinsing. Since the shampoo is high quality, you don't need to use a large amount.
- A hair loss conditioner to complement the shampoo, specifically targeting hair thinning. This product needs to be left on for 5 minutes, but it’s very pleasant to use.
- Strength and growth gummies to help my hair regrow, featuring a natural ingredient: field horsetail. Made in France, these gummies taste like delicious lollies, making them very easy to take!
🤑 Overall, with this box, I've saved AU$44.80! If I had purchased my products separately from the Luxeol website or at a pharmacy, it would have cost me over AU$50.
🔸 My second box: treatments to protect my hair
In my second box, I received some goodies to pamper my hair and restore its natural shine:
- A gentle shampoo, which I alternate with a strengthening one to avoid irritating my scalp,
- A strengthening mask, which I apply once a week for ten minutes to strengthen my hair,
- Some castor oil, which I can apply to both my hair and nails, which were weak! It has been super effective, and they have become much stronger in just a few weeks,
- A surprise gift, some sunscreen oil to protect my hair from the early rays of the sun, which I really appreciate at the lovely start of spring!
🤑 With this box, I've saved $14.80!
🔸 My third box: continuing with my hair care routine
When I received my third box, I discovered:
- A repair shampoo, which I use after swimming or when my hair has been weakened by straightening or blow-drying,
- A fortifying conditioner, which has replaced the anti-hair loss conditioner from the first box that I had finished,
- Hair loss capsules, to be taken daily with a glass of water for thirty days. By this point, I had already noticed a reduction in my hair loss, and this product has further enhanced the effects of the previous ones.
🤑 With this box, I've also saved $14.80!
🔸 My fourth box: for long eyelashes and perfecting my hair care
This is the box I received this month. In it, I was surprised to find not 3 products, but 2. This is because the lash serum is a very expensive product, costing nearly $40.
I was quite surprised to receive a product for my lashes in a box meant for hair, but this serum is applied like mascara to enhance the density and length of your lashes, which is indeed a great complement to lovely hair! I haven't used it enough yet to comment on its effectiveness, but I'm really pleased with its convenience.
In this box, I also received a fortifying shampoo like the one from the first set, but this one wasn't solid. It's quite handy for taking when heading off for a weekend or going to the pool, and so far, I'm delighted with the effectiveness of this shampoo.
🤑 With this box, I’ve saved $19.90!
🔸 A quick recap of my 4 Luxeol boxes: should I keep going or call it quits?
I enjoyed receiving this hair care routine in a box, which allowed me to test a variety of products suited to my hair (and even for my eyelashes!).
🤑 I've also made some great savings, nearly $150 in total!
I reckon I’ll keep going for at least another two months to stabilise the effects of the treatment and care. Since the subscription can now be cancelled at any time, that works perfectly for me.

Another option: order a Luxeol haircare routine
If you're not keen on the idea of a subscription box, you can easily order products individually from the Luxeol website. You have the option to order only dietary supplements, or to enhance your treatment with a shampoo and other treatments for better results.
In the case of a routine, Luxeol sorts its products by "concern". This actually refers to issues related to your hair that you want to address. For example, this could include:
- Reduce hair loss,
- Encourage hair growth,
- Strengthen brittle hair,
- Thicken and promote eyelash growth,
- Repair and protect damaged hair,
- Shield your hair from the sun,
- Treat oily hair, combat dandruff, or fight against grey hair.
When it comes to dietary supplements and topical lotions, Luxeol offers multi-month treatments at discounted prices based on quantity.
Luxeol treatment to combat hair loss, available on the brand's website for 1, 3, or 6 months
✅ If you don't want to commit to a four-month box subscription, you can purchase a Luxeol treatment directly. However, this will often be more expensive than going through the box to get the products.
Can you gift a Luxeol box?
Looking to gift a Luxeol subscription to someone special? At the moment, the brand does not offer a gift card. You'll need to subscribe on their behalf as if it were for yourself, and then you can cancel it whenever you like.
Additionally, it’s not very practical, as the individual has to complete the profile questionnaire themselves to receive personalised products. Therefore, I recommend giving a "voucher for a Luxeol subscription" and helping the recipient sign up together.
➡️ Who should you gift Luxeol to?
For the reasons mentioned in the previous sections, I recommend giving Luxeol to someone close to you: like your best mate or a family member, for instance. Given the personal nature of issues related to hair loss (post-pregnancy, stress, hereditary baldness, or androgenetic alopecia...), I suggest gifting this product to someone who wants shinier hair and to explore new products, rather than to combat hair loss. However, you’re more than welcome to recommend this box to someone who is affected!

Are Luxeol products effective? Check out customer reviews!
For treatment care like that offered by Luxeol, customer feedback is crucial: it’s what helps us know if the products live up to their promises and are worth it. Let’s take a look at what people are saying about the Luxeol brand! 😉
About Luxeol
Luxeol has decided to delegate the management of its customer reviews to the platform Verified Reviews. This means that all the reviews found on the site are from people who have ordered and tested the products. Overall, these reviews are typically very positive, with ratings above 4 out of 5 for the various products and an overall rating of 9.4 out of 10 for Luxeol in general:
👉 We do feel that it's a pity there's no dedicated review section for the Luxeol Box, as it would be great to get feedback not just on the quality of the products but also on the quality of the service.
💚 Customers loved:
- Fast delivery (for some),
- Affordable prices on products, especially during sales,
- The effectiveness of the products for both hair growth and hair loss,
- The "very responsive" customer service,
- The user-friendly design of the website.

Example of a positive review from Verified Reviews
❌ They liked it less
- The prices can sometimes be higher on the website than in pharmacies,
- In the box: too many shampoos,
- Delays on certain orders,
- In the box: the lash serum, deemed unnecessary by some customers.
Example of a mixed review from the Verified Reviews site
About Trustpilot
You can also find reviews on the Trustpilot website, even though the brand hasn't claimed its profile on this platform and doesn't encourage its customers to leave reviews there.
The customer rating is 3.4 out of 5, which is average. However, upon reading the reviews, it becomes clear that there are very few customer reviews, specifically 4, so this is not representative.

Can we trust Luxeol or is it a scam?
Luxeol is a French hair care and dietary supplement brand that has been around since 2016. In its introduction, the company commits to being attentive to its customers and designs the majority of its products in France.
Luxeol is a brand of Nutravalia, a company located in Mougins in the Alpes-Maritimes region. You can find it listed on Société.com, which catalogs all French businesses:

When it comes to the composition of its products, Luxeol is very transparent and has made the list of ingredients for each of them available online, which can be reassuring for those who are sensitive or allergic.
Before being released, every product undergoes testing. Additionally, the brand revealed in a Facebook post in 2018 that its entire range is cruelty-free, meaning it is not tested on animals.
The company can be contacted through a standard rate customer service phone line and an email address. However, it appears that they do not respond publicly to reviews left by customers, whether they are positive or negative.
✅ Luxeol is a well-established French company that is well-integrated into the Australian market and complies with European standards. The website boasts an impressive track record:
My Verdict on Luxeol
Following my hair loss due to COVID, I had high expectations of the Luxeol brand. By choosing this box, I was hoping for personalised care that would help me regain my hair volume and maintain its shine.
🧡 In the first two months, I didn't notice any major changes. However, I did enjoy using the products, especially the shampoos which had a lovely fragrance. The gummies also taste quite nice, making it more enjoyable to take my supplements.
💛 From the third month, I noticed that my hair was shinier than before. It had also grown a bit more than usual.
💙 Finally, today, after four months of treatment, I’m delighted to see the regrowth of fine hair at the front of my head, often referred to as baby hair! My hair is looking shiny and less greasy, and I'm really enjoying using Luxeol products.
I could cancel today, but I plan to continue the treatment for another two months to help my hair recover properly. I'm happy with the products I've selected, but spending $29.90 a month on my hair isn’t in my budget.
I'm just a bit skeptical about the eyelash product I received a month ago, which hasn't worked miracles so far. Additionally, I don’t really have any specific issues with my eyelashes, so it wasn't strictly necessary.
I also find that the box includes too many shampoos, almost one each month, which is a bit excessive. I wish I could pause the subscription for a month to use up my existing products before receiving new ones, but unfortunately, that's not an option.
Ultimately, I would have loved to provide feedback on each Luxeol box so that the brand could tailor the contents of my box based on the changing condition of my hair.
✅ To summarise, I appreciated the savings made with the Luxeol box (over $100!), the quality of the products, and their effectiveness. I would have liked the satisfaction guarantee on the website to apply to the box as well; that would have been more reassuring.
