I had the opportunity to test this fashion box, and I’d like to share my thoughts on it.

What is the Lookiero personal shopper service?

Lookiero is a no-obligation fashion box service that sends you a selection of five trendy women's clothing items to your home once a month. When you sign up for Lookiero, you'll be asked to complete a questionnaire that takes about 5 minutes to indicate your preferences:

• What is your style,
• What are your favourite cuts (fitted, loose...),
• Which parts of your body would you like to highlight,
• What body shape do you belong to,
• What are your physical characteristics (eyes, hair...),
• What is your budget for buying clothes,
• What occasion are you looking to get new outfits for (work, outings...).

👉 Your answers to these questions will help the personal shopper, who selects the clothing that will be sent to you, to choose pieces that suit you and that you are likely to enjoy.

Once you receive the box, you have five days to try on the clothes and make your decision: keep what you like and send back for free anything you don’t want! You'll only pay for what you keep. If you decide to keep all the items, a 25% discount will be applied to the total of your box.

Lookiero offers you four types of subscriptions:

What is the price of a Lookiero box?

The benefit of Lookiero lies in the fact that the price is adjustable, based on your budget. First, you receive five clothing items, but you only pay for what you keep. Additionally, you have the option to specify, during the initial questionnaire, how much you would like to spend on your clothing on average.

👉 If you keep all five items from your box, you will receive a 25% discount on the total, which means you’ll essentially get more than one item for free!

When you place your order, shipping and return costs are included, but you will be asked to pay R200. This amount covers the Personal Shopper service fee. There are various promo codes available to refund this fee, especially for your first order, by clicking on "Try for free" on the website. If you keep at least one item of clothing from your box, the R200 will be fully refunded to you!

There is no customer service phone line to contact Lookiero directly, but you can send them an email or a letter directly to Spain. There is also an online form available on the website.

✅ Lookiero is a reliable and reputable company, but it’s unfortunate that it’s not as easily reachable as its French competitors.

My verdict on the Lookiero subscription

Having often struggled to find clothes that really fit me, I was initially sceptical about the offering from Lookiero. I wondered how, without trying things on and just by answering a few questions, the personal shopper would be able to understand my wants and needs.

When I received my first Lookiero parcel, I realised I was wrong to be sceptical. In fact, I loved all the items included and immediately wanted to try them on. I enjoyed mixing and matching them or creating new outfits with the rest of my wardrobe.

In the end, I kept three out of five items: a blouse, a skirt, and a jumper that fit me really well. I was able to easily return the other two items and only paid for what I chose. I also sent a message to my personal shopper, Joanna, to let her know what I didn't like about the items I returned, so she could take that into account for my next order. I also mentioned that I mainly needed outfits for work without having to spend hours picking my clothes every morning.

With a limited budget, I’ve chosen to have a box delivered every three months. I really appreciate being able to change my subscription according to my needs and income. I can’t wait to receive my next box and see what Joanna has picked out for me!
