My Thoughts on My Little Box: The Beauty and Fashion Subscription Box

Today, I'm excited to introduce you to a new box that's all about indulgence, featuring My Little Box, one of the pioneers of this kind in France. Unlike other beauty boxes like Blissim or Lookfantastic, My Little Box is created by a French company: My Little Paris, which, as the name suggests, is based in Paris.

This company has been around since 2008 and employs over 200 staff. It has expanded internationally and now has offices in Berlin and Tokyo.

My Verdict on My Little Box

I've known about My Little Box for quite a while now: I was subscribed around ten years ago after receiving a gift, and I've decided to give it another go because I have such fond memories of it.

I subscribed for six months. Recently, I received my last two boxes combined into one delivery, along with the double box for July-August. Personally, I’m quite a fan of the concept of this box, which combines cosmetics, fashion, and lifestyle. It offers a great variety of products without overwhelming me with beauty items.

Most of the cosmetic brands I've received in the boxes are well-known names that you can find in pharmacies and beauty shops (Garancia, Nuxe, Caudalie...) : I really appreciated getting them at a great price!

I'm also pleased with the quality of the accessories, even though some of them are a bit "gadgety": small costume jewellery, numerous pouches... I would perhaps prefer if there were a few less, but that these were made in France, for example.

As for the price, I think it’s reasonable, even though the boxes can be a bit hit and miss at times. I noticed there were quite a few miniatures in the spring boxes, but I'm really pleased with the contents of the summer double box.

In the end, I contacted customer service because a product had spilled in my May box. They were very helpful and promptly sent me a replacement for the product, which made me forget all about that minor mishap.

My Little Box sends out its boxes between the 10th and 25th of the month, using Colissimo or another courier service. If you haven’t received your box by the 30th of the month, please do not hesitate to get in touch directly with the My Little Box team.

Is there a commitment with My Little Box?

Not necessarily! You can take out a monthly subscription with no commitment, where you will be charged €18.50 each month. You can cancel it whenever you like.

However, if you pay in full for the entire year, you are committed for the twelve months following the start of your subscription.

How do I activate my My Little Box gift card?

It's really easy! Just head over to the My Little Box website, click on "Activate my gift card" at the top right, and follow the instructions. You'll need the code that's written on the gift card or the one you were given when you received the gift!

What to do with your My Little Box containers?

The My Little Box sets are really lovely and can be used as daily décor:

How to unsubscribe from My Little Box?

Unsubscribe is available for those who have opted for the monthly direct debit without commitment. Otherwise, you will need to wait for the end of your one-year commitment period for the subscription to automatically end.

To unsubscribe, simply go to the "My Account" section at the top right of the homepage, then log in. In the menu on the left, click on BOX, then MY ORDERS. After that, just click on your subscription , go to "MORE INFO", and finally select "UNSUBSCRIBE".

This applies until the last day of each month, so it will take effect from the following month.
