My Thoughts on GLOWRIA in 2024: Is It Worth the Price?

Before I discovered Glowria, I wasn’t too keen on beauty boxes. I was worried about being overwhelmed with all sorts of samples when I would have preferred full-sized products instead. However, what really made me want to subscribe is that the Glowria beauty box offers only full-sized products - the proper size!

After having received and tested 3 boxes, I'm sharing my thoughts so you can find out if this box is really worth it or not.

What is the Glowria Box?

• Box is quite repetitive,

How does the Glowria beauty box (formerly known as Beautiful Box) work?

Formerly known as Beautiful box by au Féminin, this beauty box was rebranded in January 2021 to become the Glowria box. It is a monthly box delivered to your home, packed with cosmetic products.

What sets Glowria apart is that the products are in a full-size format, meaning they come in larger sizes, unlike the samples and minis typically found in other beauty boxes (such as Blissim, Lookfantastic, My Little Box...).

The products included in the Glowria box allow you to receive a new beauty routine each month, often accompanied by accessories such as masks, makeup sponges, and more...

Receiving a beauty box means getting an original surprise in your mailbox each month, allowing you to pamper yourself and take care of yourself every day. 😉

Who is the Glowria box for?

On the Glowria website, it's revealed that the box has been designed for all women. It is described as:

• inclusive,
• and committed.

This desire to celebrate all types of beauty is one of the aspects that drew me to Glowria. The idea was already present in the previous Beautiful box, but now it's boldly embraced, which is lovely to see!

What is the price of Glowria?

Unlike other beauty boxes that offer a variety of subscription options, Glowria keeps it straightforward by giving you the choice between:

• A monthly subscription at €16.90 with automatic renewal,
• A yearly subscription at €185.

👉 The monthly subscription can be canceled at any time from your account area. The annual subscription commits you for a duration of twelve months, but you do get a free box. It’s up to you to make your choice!

For my part, I decided to play it safe with a monthly subscription that automatically renews. I was confident that I could pause or cancel it if I didn't like the service anymore, for example.

What are the different payment methods offered by Glowria?

Even if you choose a monthly subscription, payment on Glowria can be made either via PayPal or your credit card. This means that if your credit card expires during your subscription, you’ll need to remember to update it with the details of your new card to continue receiving your box.

👉 For me, I've chosen to pay via PayPal, which I find convenient and secure! 😉

When you order a beauty box online, you don't really know what to expect, and you might be worried about being disappointed. This is especially true with Glowria, as the site doesn’t show us previous boxes.

As I opened the box, I discovered:

🤑 The total value of all the products, excluding the lovely box itself, is €75. For the price of the box, €16.90, you save over €58! So, in terms of price, the Glowria box is quite a great deal.

Can you gift a subscription to Glowria? 🎁

It's a bit of a shame, but Glowria still doesn't offer a gift card with an activation code like you can find with My Little Box, for instance. To gift a subscription to someone of your choice, you have two options:

• Sign up for a monthly payment plan and cancel whenever you wish the subscription to end,
• Subscribe to an annual plan to make a lovely gift!

👉 If you choose one of these options, all you need to do is provide the name and address of the recipient when you sign up and enter the delivery address. 😉

Who should you gift a Glowria box to?

A subscription box makes a perfect gift for a friend, your mum, your partner, or even a younger sister, a cousin, a niece, and so on. An annual subscription can be a lovely group gift!

All it takes is for the person to enjoy surprises for them to love the world of Glowria!

My Verdict on the Glowria Box ⭐⭐⭐

After three months of subscription, here’s my take on the Glowria box. Having been subscribed to other beauty boxes, including My Little Box, I genuinely appreciated that Glowria offers full-sized products at an unbeatable price.

If you're looking to discover new products and save some money with a straightforward subscription, this is the box I recommend for you.

👉 Another detail I appreciated was receiving two boxes in the summer, one for July and one for August, whereas other brands typically send a double box. That means two lovely surprises!

However, I found the Glowria box to be less engaging in terms of its community compared to others. The themes of the boxes are a bit less original and can sometimes feel somewhat repetitive. It's not uncommon to receive quite similar products month after month.

How to Cancel Your Glowria Subscription?

Glowria allows you to pause your subscription for a few months without having to cancel it completely. To do this, simply go to your customer area, then navigate to the My subscriptions section. After that, click on "View details", and then "Pause".
