My Take on GLOWRIA in 2024: Is It Worth the Price?

Until I discovered Glowria, I wasn't very interested in beauty boxes. I was worried about being overwhelmed by all kinds of samples when I really wanted full-size products. However, what motivated me to subscribe is that the Glowria beauty box offers only full-size products!

After receiving and testing 3 boxes, I'm sharing my thoughts so you can decide if this subscription box is really worth it or not.

What is the Glowria Box?

How Does the Glowria Beauty Box (formerly Beautiful Box) Work?

Previously known as Beautiful box by au Féminin, this beauty box rebranded in January 2021 to become the Glowria box. It is a monthly subscription box delivered to your home, filled with cosmetic products.

The unique aspect of Glowria is that the products are in a retail size, meaning they come in a larger format, unlike the samples and miniatures found in other beauty boxes (like Blissim, Lookfantastic, My Little Box...).

The products included in the Glowria box provide you with a new beauty routine each month, often accompanied by accessories such as masks, makeup sponges, and more...

Receiving a beauty box means getting an original surprise in your mailbox every month, to help you take care of yourself daily and indulge a little. 😉

Who is the Glowria box for?

On the Glowria website, we learn that the box has been designed for all women. It is described as:

• authentic,
• inclusive,
• and committed.

This desire to celebrate all types of beauty is one of the elements that attracted me to Glowria. This idea was already present in the previous Beautiful box, but it is now fully embraced, which is wonderful!

What is the price of Glowria?

Unlike other beauty boxes that offer a variety of subscription options, Glowria keeps it straightforward by giving you a choice between:

• A monthly subscription for $16.90 with automatic renewal,
• A yearly subscription for $185.

👉 The monthly subscription can be canceled at any time from your customer account. The annual subscription commits you for a twelve-month period, but you will receive a free box. The choice is yours!

For my part, I preferred to choose the security of a monthly subscription with automatic renewal. I was confident that I could pause or cancel it if I no longer liked the service, for example.

What are the different payment methods offered by Glowria?

Even if you choose a monthly subscription, payments on Glowria can be made either through Paypal or your credit card. This means that if your credit card expires during your subscription, you need to remember to update your information with the new card to continue receiving your box.

👉 For my part, I opted to pay with PayPal, which I find convenient and secure! 😉

Can you gift a Glowria subscription? 🎁

It's a pity, but Glowria does not yet offer a gift card with an activation code like you might find with My Little Box, for example. To subscribe someone of your choice, you have two options:

• Sign up for a monthly payment plan and cancel whenever you wish for the subscription to end,
• Sign up for an annual plan to give a wonderful gift!

👉 If you choose one of these solutions, all you need to do is provide the name and address of the recipient during your registration, when it comes time to enter the delivery address. 😉

Who should you gift a Glowria box to?

A subscription box makes a perfect gift for a friend, your mom, your partner, or even a little sister, a cousin, a niece, etc. An annual subscription can be a lovely group gift!

My Verdict on the Glowria Box ⭐⭐⭐

After three months of subscription, here’s my opinion on the Glowria box. Having previously subscribed to other beauty boxes, including My Little Box, I really appreciated that Glowria offers full-sized products at an unbeatable price.

If you're looking to discover new products and save money with a simple subscription, this is the box I recommend.

👉 Another detail I appreciated was receiving two boxes in the summer, one for July and one for August, whereas competitors typically send a double box. That means two surprises!

However, I found the Glowria box to be less engaging in terms of its community compared to others. The themes of the boxes are somewhat less original and can sometimes feel a bit repetitive. It is not uncommon to receive fairly similar products from one month to the next.

How to Cancel Your Glowria Subscription?

Glowria allows you to pause your subscription for a few months without having to cancel it. To do this, simply go to your account area, then navigate to the My Subscriptions section. Next, click on "View Details", then "Pause".

👉 This will pause the box starting from the following month, for the chosen duration (1, 2, or 3 months).

Do you want to permanently cancel your subscription? To do this, you need to go to your client area, then navigate to the "my subscriptions" menu. Next, select your subscription and click on "View details", then "Unsubscribe".
