To give you an idea of what to expect when you receive your box, I’d like to share the contents of the Glossybox from May 2022, which was themed "Perfectly Imperfect".

Upon receiving this brightly coloured and inviting box, I was able to discover:

🎁 A silicone exfoliating sponge from Daily Concepts.

I really loved the exfoliating sponge, it's super handy for washing my body and relaxing. I especially got to try it with the cleansing oil included in the set, and together they work wonderfully.

The highlighter is a quality product that matches my skin tone perfectly. I’ll be using it this summer! The firming serum is also a great find, with its non-sticky texture and lovely orange scent. It's best to apply it in the evening, as it takes some time to absorb into the skin.

Lastly, Glossybox also included in this box a Banana Beauty lip pencil of great quality! The colour doesn't quite suit me, but it delighted my little sister, to whom I gave it! 😉

Glossybox is the trade name of the company THG Beauty Limited, which is based in the United Kingdom. It is owned by the group "The Hut Group," hence the initials THG, which has been in operation since 2004 and operates over 300 websites that specialize in cosmetics, beauty, and nutrition.

This is a reputable company, managed by a well-known large group. However, since it is based in the UK, it is not possible to contact them by phone. For returns, Glossybox has warehouses in Europe, which eliminates any customs issues related to Brexit. The brand has also communicated to reassure its customers on this matter.

On review sites like Trustpilot, the brand takes the time to respond to its customers, but with a standard copy-paste message that is always the same. I therefore recommend that you contact them directly using the form available on your "My Account" page on the Glossybox website. The brand typically replies within 24 hours on business days.

✅ In summary, Glossybox is a brand with a strong financial foundation, belonging to a well-known international group. Given this, it would have been appreciated to have a phone customer service option, even though the brand allows you to contact them via online messaging.

My Verdict on Glossybox

🧡 Glossybox is a beauty box that doesn't revolutionize the genre, but it has one undeniable advantage: its affordable price! Compared to competitors like MyLittleBox or Biotyfull Box, which offer more expensive options, the price of $12.50 CAD for receiving a beauty box every month for a year is quite appealing!

💛 I also appreciated the quality of the products and the various themes of the gift boxes. The website is very clear and well-explained: it makes you want to place an order, and you don't feel like you're being scammed.

💜 I also loved the concept of limited editions, which makes it easy to give beautiful gifts to our loved ones. Next year, I already know what I will give my mom for Mother's Day!
