I’ve had the chance to try out this fashion box myself, and I’d like to share my thoughts on it.

What is a Lookiero personal shopper?

Lookiero is a no-obligation fashion box service that sends a selection of five stylish women's clothing items to your home once a month. When you sign up for Lookiero, you'll be invited to complete a questionnaire that takes about 5 minutes to indicate your preferences:

• What is your style?
• What are your favourite cuts (fitted, loose, etc.)?
• Which parts of your body would you like to highlight?
• What body shape do you identify with?
• What are your physical features (eyes, hair, etc.)?
• What is your budget for buying clothes?
• For what occasion do you want new outfits (work, social events, etc.)?

👉 Your answers to these questions will help the personal shopper who selects the clothing items to pick pieces that suit you and are likely to appeal to your taste.

Once you receive the box, you have five days to try on the clothes and make your decision: keep what you like and send back for free what you don’t want! You only pay for what you keep. If you decide to keep everything, you’ll receive a 25% discount off the total of your box.

Lookiero offers you four types of subscriptions:

Additionally, you have the option to specify, during the initial questionnaire, the average amount you wish to spend on your clothing.

When you place your order, shipping and return fees are included, but you’ll be asked to pay $10 AUD. This fee covers the Personal Shopper service. There are plenty of promo codes available to get this amount refunded, especially on your first order, by clicking on "Try for free" on the website. If you keep at least one item from your box, you’ll receive the full $10 AUD back!

My verdict on the Lookiero subscription

Having often struggled to find clothes that really fit me, I was initially sceptical about the service offered by Lookiero. I wondered how, without trying anything on and just with a few questions, the personal shopper would be able to understand my tastes and needs.

When I received my first Lookiero parcel, I realised I was wrong to be skeptical. In fact, I loved all the items offered and immediately wanted to try them on. I enjoyed mixing and matching them, as well as creating new outfits using the rest of my wardrobe.

In the end, I kept three out of the five pieces: a blouse, a skirt, and a jumper that fit me really well. I was able to easily return the other two items, and I only paid for what I decided to keep. I also messaged my personal shopper, Joanna, to let her know what I didn’t like about the clothes I returned, so she could consider that for my next order. I made it clear that I mainly needed outfits for work that wouldn’t take me hours to choose in the mornings.

As I don't have a flexible budget, I've decided to have a box delivered every three months. I really appreciate the ability to change my subscription based on my needs and income. I'm looking forward to receiving my next box and discovering what Joanna has chosen for me!
