Following a hair loss, I started testing Luxeol products four months ago, thanks to the customised box offered by this brand. I can now tell you if it worked: let's dive into the Luxeol box and my thoughts on it in the following lines!

👍 I Loved It
- The quality of Luxeol products,
- The visible effect on my hair regrowth (much faster!)
- The shine and strength of my hair,
- The savings offered by the box on Luxeol products,
- Discovering a box dedicated solely to hair wellness.
❌ What I Liked Less
- The Satisfaction or Money Back Guarantee that doesn’t work on the box,
- No option to pause my subscription for a month,
- No gift card system.
How does the Luxeol box work?
When looking for products to take care of your hair, it can sometimes be difficult to choose the right ones for you. Furthermore, since shampoos don’t get used up at the same rate as dietary supplements, you constantly have to buy more products.
To make your life easier, the brand Luxeol, which specialises in hair care, now offers a subscription to a customised box. This is the product that I've been able to test for four months: each month, I received the box directly in my mailbox, containing a selection of two or three products tailored to my hair care needs.
Based on the results from the questionnaire you filled out during your registration, you may have access to hair care products:
- Men 👨 or women 👩
- Long, medium, or short,
- Straight, curly, wavy, or coily,
- Weakened by heat from straighteners or curling irons,
- Natural, curled with a perm, coloured or highlighted,
- Oily or dry,
- With dandruff...
Luxeol also specializes in the prevention of hair loss, which can be a source of anxiety for many men and women. The profile questionnaire allows you to assess your hair loss and regrowth, enabling you to receive products specifically tailored to your situation.
👉 Not a fan of tablets? The Luxeol box caters to your preferences by asking you at the end of the hair profile questionnaire what type of dietary supplement you prefer. The offering adjusts accordingly to provide you with one of the following:
- Capsules to be swallowed with water,
- A drinkable supplement,
- Gummies, which are like small sweets, to chew.
The Luxeol box comes with a 4-month commitment period. Once this period is complete, you can cancel at any time. This makes it ideal for a hair treatment course, which typically lasts between 4 and 6 months.
Who is Luxeol for?
The Luxeol box is suitable for both men and women. As mentioned earlier, the products address most hair-related issues.
This subscription system is therefore suitable for:
- To those who are not satisfied with their hair and want to care for it using a reputable brand,
- To individuals suffering from reactive hair loss, baldness, or androgenetic alopecia,
- To those who would like to have a comprehensive hair treatment without the hassle of deciding what to choose,
- To those who would love to try Luxeol but find the products a bit pricey.
How much does Luxeol cost?
The Luxeol box offers a competitive price for the first month at just R199.00. After that, each subsequent month costs R499.00. This price includes:
- Hair diagnosis,
- On average, 3 Luxeol products, retail size, suited to your hair type,
- Free delivery.
👉 To summarise, the prices for Luxeol box are very straightforward:

What’s included in the Luxeol box?
To help you better visualise what this box contains, I’d like to share the contents of the four boxes I’ve received so far.
🔸 My needs: to strengthen my hair after a loss
After suffering from a rather tiring Covid infection at the start of winter, I began to notice that my hair was much more brittle and had lost its shine. I was also experiencing significant hair loss during my morning styling routine. After checking with my doctor to ensure that this hair loss was not serious, I started looking for a comprehensive treatment to restore my hair to how it was a few months ago. That's when I decided to try the Luxeol box.
🔸 My First Box: Everything I Need to Strengthen My Hair
In this box, I received:
- A strengthening shampoo, which I applied to my hair two to three times a week, leaving it on before rinsing. Since the shampoo is of good quality, you don’t need to use a large amount.
- A hair loss conditioner, to complement the shampoo by specifically targeting hair thinning. This is a product that needs to be left on for 5 minutes, but it’s very pleasant to use.
- Strength and growth gummies to help my hair regrow, using a natural ingredient: field horsetail. Made in France, these gummies taste like delicious sweets, making them very easy to take!
🤑 In total, I saved R800.00 with this box! If I had bought my products separately on the Luxeol site or at a pharmacy, it would have cost me over R850.00.
🔸 My second box: hair care to protect my locks
In my second box, I received some goodies to pamper my hair and restore its natural shine:
- A gentle shampoo, which I use alternately with a strengthening shampoo to avoid irritating my scalp,
- A fortifying mask that I apply once a week for ten minutes to strengthen my hair,
- Castor oil, which I've been able to apply to both my hair and my nails, which were quite fragile! This has been really effective, and they have become much more resilient in just a few weeks,
- A surprise gift, some sun protection oil to shield my hair from the first rays of the sun, which I really appreciated at the lovely start of spring!
🤑 With this box, I've saved R 280!
🔸 My third box: keeping up with my hair care routine
Upon receiving my third box, I discovered:
- A repairing shampoo, which I use after swimming or when my hair has been weakened by straightening or blow-drying,
- A fortifying conditioner, which has taken over from the anti-hair loss conditioner from the first box that I had finished,
- Capsules for hair loss, to be taken daily with a glass of water, for thirty days. By this point, I had already noticed a reduction in my hair loss, and this product has further enhanced the effects of the previous ones.
🤑 With this box, I also saved R 14.80!
🔸 My fourth box: to achieve long eyelashes and perfect my hair care
This is the box I received this month. In it, I was surprised to find not 3 products, but 2. This is because the eyelash serum is a very expensive product, costing nearly R800.
I was quite surprised to receive a product for my eyelashes in a hair care box, but this serum applies like mascara to enhance the density and length of lashes, which indeed complements having beautiful hair! I haven't used it enough yet to provide feedback on its effectiveness, but I am very pleased with its practicality.
In this box, I also received a fortifying shampoo similar to the one in the first set, but this one wasn't solid. It's quite practical to carry around for a weekend away or a trip to the pool, and so far I am really pleased with the effectiveness of this shampoo.
🤑 With this box, I saved R 19.90!
🔸 A Quick Review of My 4 Luxeol Boxes: Should I Continue or Stop?
I really enjoyed receiving this hair care routine in a box, as it allowed me to try out a variety of products that are suited to my hair (and even my eyelashes!).
🤑 I also made some great savings, nearly R2,000 in total!
I think I will continue for at least another two months to stabilise the effects of the treatment and care. Since the subscription can now be cancelled at any time, this suits me perfectly.

Another Option: Order a Luxeol Hair Care Routine
If the concept of a box doesn’t appeal to you, it’s perfectly fine to order the products individually on the Luxeol website. You can choose to order only the dietary supplements, or you can enhance your routine with shampoo and treatments for better results.
In the case of a routine, Luxeol organises its products by "concern". This refers to issues related to your hair that you wish to address. These could include, for example:
- Reduce hair loss,
- Promote hair growth,
- Strengthen brittle hair,
- Thicken and enhance eyelash growth,
- Repair and protect damaged hair,
- Shield your hair from the sun,
- Treat oily hair, combat dandruff, or tackle grey hair.
When it comes to dietary supplements and lotions to apply, Luxeol offers multi-month treatments, with prices decreasing based on the quantity purchased.
Luxeol treatment to combat hair loss, available on the brand's website for 1, 3 or 6 months
✅ If you don't want to commit to a 4-month subscription for the box, you can purchase a Luxeol treatment directly, but it will often be more expensive than if you went through the box to get the products.
Can one gift a Luxeol box?
Are you looking to gift a Luxeol subscription to someone you know? At the moment, the brand does not offer gift cards yet. You will need to subscribe the person as if it were for yourself, and then cancel the subscription when you wish.
Additionally, it's not very practical, as the individual must fill out the profile questionnaire themselves to receive personalised products. So, I recommend giving a "voucher for a Luxeol subscription" and assisting the recipient with the subscription process.
➡️ Who should you gift Luxeol to?
For the reasons mentioned in the previous lines, I would recommend giving Luxeol to someone close to you: your best friend, or a family member, for example. Given the personal nature of issues related to hair loss (such as post-pregnancy, stress, hereditary baldness or androgenetic alopecia...), I suggest giving this gift to someone who wants shinier hair and to explore products, rather than focusing on combating hair loss. However, there's nothing stopping you from suggesting this box to someone who is affected!

Are Luxeol products effective? Find out what customers are saying!
For treatment products like those offered by Luxeol, customer reviews are crucial: they are what helps us determine if the products deliver on their promises and if they are worth it. Let's take a look at what people are saying about the Luxeol brand! 😉
On the Luxeol Website
Luxeol has chosen to hand over the management of its customer reviews to the platform Avis Vérifiés. This means that all the reviews you find on the site are from people who have ordered and tested the products. Overall, these are generally very positive, with ratings above 4 out of 5 for the various products and an overall rating of 9.4 out of 10 for Luxeol as a whole:
👉 It's a pity that there isn't a dedicated review section specifically for the Luxeol Box, which would allow us to get feedback not just on the quality of the products, but also on the quality of the service.
💚 Customers loved:
- Fast delivery (for some),
- The affordable prices of products, especially during sales,
- The effectiveness of the products for both hair growth and hair loss,
- The customer service that is "very attentive",
- The user-friendly design of the website.

Example of a positive review from the Verified Reviews site
❌ They liked it less
- Prices can sometimes be higher on the website than in pharmacies,
- In the box: too many shampoos,
- Delays on certain orders,
- In the box: the eyelash serum, deemed unnecessary by some customers.
Example of a mixed review from the Verified Reviews site
About Trustpilot
You can also find reviews on the Trustpilot site, even though the brand has not claimed its profile on this platform and does not encourage its customers to leave reviews there.
The rating given by customers is 3.4 out of 5, which is average. However, upon reading the reviews, it's clear that there are very few customer reviews, specifically only 4, and thus this is not representative.
Luxeol on Social Media
You can find the Luxeol brand on:
- Instagram, boasting nearly 100,000 followers and online guides on how to use their products,

Can we trust Luxeol or is it a scam?
Luxeol is a French hair care and dietary supplement brand that has been around since 2016. In its introduction, the company commits to listening to its customers and designing the majority of its products in France.
Luxeol is a brand of the Nutravalia company, located in Mougins in the Alpes-Maritimes region. It can be found on the Société.com website, which lists all French companies:

When it comes to the ingredients in its products, Luxeol is very transparent and provides an online list of ingredients for each product, which can be reassuring for those who are sensitive or allergic.
Before being launched, every product is tested. Furthermore, the brand revealed in a Facebook post from 2018 that their entire range is cruelty-free, which means not tested on animals.
The company can be contacted through a standard-rate customer service phone line as well as an email address. However, it appears that they do not respond publicly to reviews left by customers, whether they are positive or negative.
✅ Luxeol is a well-established French company that is well-integrated into the French market and adheres to European standards. The site features a commendable track record:
My verdict on Luxeol
Following my hair loss due to COVID, I had high hopes for the Luxeol brand. By choosing this box, I was looking for a personalised treatment that would help me regain my hair volume and preserve its shine.
🧡 In the first two months, I didn't notice any major changes. However, I enjoyed using the products, especially the shampoos which had a lovely fragrance. The gummies also have a rather nice taste, making taking supplements more enjoyable.
💛 From the third month, I noticed that my hair was shinier than before. It had also grown a bit more than usual.
💙 Finally, today, after four months of treatment, I am delighted to see the regrowth of fine hairs at the front of my scalp, commonly known as baby hairs! My hair is shiny and less greasy, and I'm enjoying using Luxeol products.
I could cancel today, but I’m planning to continue the treatment for another two months to help my hair fully recover. I’m happy with the products I’ve chosen, but spending R29.90 per month on my hair is a bit out of my budget.
I'm just a little skeptical about the eyelash product I received a month ago, as it hasn't worked wonders so far. Additionally, I don't really have any specific concerns regarding my eyelashes, so it wasn't really necessary.
I also find that the box contains quite a lot of shampoos, almost one each month, which is a bit excessive. I would have liked to be able to pause it for a month to use my products before receiving new ones, but unfortunately, that’s not an option.
Ultimately, I wish I could provide feedback after each Luxeol box so that the brand could tailor the contents of my box according to the changing condition of my hair.
✅In summary, I enjoyed the savings made on Luxeol products through the box (over R1,800!), as well as their quality and effectiveness. I would have appreciated it if the satisfaction guarantee from the site also applied to the box, which would have been more reassuring.
