My Thoughts on MY LITTLE BOX: The Beauty and Fashion Subscription Box

Is My Little Box a scam or a trustworthy brand?

Unlike other beauty boxes such as Blissim or Lookfantastic, My Little Box is created by a French company: My Little Paris, which is located, as the name suggests, in Paris.

This company has been in operation since 2008 and employs over 200 staff members. It has expanded internationally and now has offices in Berlin and Tokyo.

My Little Paris is contactable via email, phone, or social media. The brand also takes the time to personally respond to customer reviews posted on the Trustpilot platform, in a bid to continually enhance the customer experience.

My Verdict on My Little Box

I've known about My Little Box for quite some time: I was previously a subscriber about ten years ago due to a gift, and I decided to give it another go as I have fond memories of it.

I therefore subscribed for six months. Recently, I received my last two boxes combined into one delivery, along with the double box for July-August. Personally, I am quite a fan of the concept of this box, which combines cosmetics, fashion, and lifestyle. This means I get a wide variety of products without being overwhelmed by beauty items.

Most of the cosmetic brands I've received in the boxes are well-known names that you can find in health shops and beauty retailers (Garancia, Nuxe, Caudalie...): I really appreciated getting them at a bargain price!

I am also pleased with the quality of the accessories, although some are a bit "gimmicky": small costume jewellery, numerous pouches... I would perhaps prefer there to be fewer of them, but for those to be made in France, for example.

As for the pricing, I find it fair, even though the boxes can sometimes be a bit hit and miss. I noticed that there were a lot of miniatures in the spring boxes, but I am delighted with the contents of the double summer box.

Finally, I contacted customer service because a product had spilled in my May box. They were very helpful and promptly sent me a replacement for the product, which made me forget about the little mishap.

Unsubscribing is possible for those who have signed up for a monthly payment plan without commitment. Otherwise, you must wait for the end of your one-year commitment period for the subscription to automatically end.

To unsubscribe, simply go to the "My Account" section at the top right of the homepage, then log in. In the menu on the left, click on BOX, then MY ORDERS. After that, just click on your subscription , go to "MORE INFO", and finally select "UNSUBSCRIBE".

This is effective until the last day of each month, so that it takes effect from the following month.
