Would you like to have beautiful hair? Are you worried about its vitality? For many of us, having lovely hair is a key part of self-confidence. When it starts to lose its shine or when you experience significant hair loss, it can be a cause for concern.
Following a hair loss issue, I started testing Luxeol products four months ago, thanks to the personalised box offered by this brand. I can now share whether it has worked: let me take you through the Luxeol box and my thoughts on it in the following paragraphs!

👍 I Loved It
- The quality of Luxeol products,
- The visible effect on my hair regrowth (much quicker!)
- The shine and strength of my hair,
- The discount provided by the box on Luxeol products,
- Discover a box solely dedicated to hair care.
❌ What I Liked Less
- The 'Satisfaction Guaranteed or Your Money Back' offer that doesn't apply to the box,
- No option to pause my subscription for a month,
- No gift card system.
How does the Luxeol box work?
When looking for products to care for your hair, it can sometimes be difficult to choose the ones that are right for you. Moreover, as shampoos don't run out at the same rate as dietary supplements, you constantly have to purchase new products.
To make your life easier, Luxeol, a brand specialising in hair care, now offers you a subscription to a personalised box. This is the product I was able to test for four months: each month, I received the box directly in my letterbox, with a selection of two or three products tailored to my hair concerns.
According to the results obtained from the questionnaire you filled out during your registration, you may have hair-specific products available to you:
- Men 👨 or women 👩
- Long, medium or short,
- Straight, curly, wavy or frizzy,
- Damaged by heat from straighteners or curling wands,
- Natural, permed curls, dyed or highlighted,
- Oily or dry,
- With dandruff...
Luxeol also specialises in tackling hair loss, which can be a source of anxiety for many men and women. The profile questionnaire allows you to assess your hair loss and regrowth, enabling the delivery of products specifically suited to your situation.
👉 Not a fan of tablets? The Luxeol box caters to your preferences by asking you at the end of the hair profile questionnaire what type of dietary supplement you prefer. The offer is tailored to provide you with either of the following:
- Capsules to be swallowed with water,
- A drinkable supplement,
- Gummies, which are like small sweets, to chew.
The Luxeol box comes with a minimum commitment period of 4 months. Once this period is complete, you have the option to cancel at any time. Therefore, it is perfectly suited for a hair treatment course, which typically lasts between 4 to 6 months.
Who is Luxeol for?
The Luxeol box is suitable for both men and women. As mentioned earlier, the products address most hair-related issues.
This subscription system is therefore suitable for:
- For those who are not satisfied with their hair and wish to take care of it with a reputable brand,
- For individuals suffering from reactive hair loss, baldness or androgenetic alopecia,
- For those who would like to have a comprehensive hair treatment without having to worry about what to choose,
- For those who would like to try Luxeol but find the products too expensive.
How much does Luxeol cost?
The Luxeol box offers a competitive price for the first month at just £9.90. After that, each month costs £29.90. This price includes:
- Hair diagnosis,
- On average, 3 Luxeol products in retail size tailored to your hair,
- Free delivery.
👉 To summarise, the prices for Luxeol box are very straightforward:

What’s included in the Luxeol box?
To help you better visualise what this box contains, I’d like to share the contents of the four boxes I have received so far.
🔸 My needs: strengthening my hair after a loss
Following a rather exhausting COVID infection I caught at the beginning of winter, I began to notice that my hair had become much more brittle and had lost its shine. I was also losing a lot of hair while styling it in the morning. After confirming with my doctor that this hair loss wasn't serious, I started looking for a comprehensive treatment to restore my hair to how it was a few months ago. That's when I decided to try the Luxeol box.
🔸 My First Box: Everything You Need to Strengthen Your Hair
In this box, I received:
- A strengthening shampoo, which I applied to my hair two to three times a week, letting it sit before rinsing out. Since the shampoo is of good quality, you don't need to use a large amount.
- A hair loss conditioner to complement the shampoo, specifically targeting hair thinning. This is a product that you need to leave on for 5 minutes, but it's very pleasant to use.
- Strength and growth gummies to assist my hair in regrowing, using a natural ingredient: field horsetail. Made in France, these gummies are like delicious sweets, making them very easy to take!
🤑 In total, with this box, I've made a savings of £44.80! If I had purchased my products separately from the Luxeol website or at a pharmacy, it would have cost me over £50.
🔸 My second box: treatments to protect my hair
In my second box, I received some products to pamper my hair and restore its natural shine:
- A gentle shampoo, which I use alternately with a strengthening shampoo to avoid irritating my scalp,
- A strengthening mask, which I apply once a week for ten minutes to strengthen my hair,
- Castor oil, which I've been able to apply to my hair as well as my nails, which were weakened! It has been incredibly effective, and they have become more resilient in just a few weeks,
- A surprise gift, solar oil to protect my hair from the early rays of the sun, which I've really appreciated during this lovely start to spring!
🤑 With this box, I have saved £14.80!
🔸 My third box: continuing the hair care journey
Upon receiving my third box, I discovered:
- A repairing shampoo, which I use after returning from the pool or when my hair has been weakened by straightening or blow-drying,
- A strengthening conditioner, which has replaced the anti-hair loss conditioner from the first box that I had finished,
- Capsules for hair loss, to be taken daily with a glass of water for thirty days. At this point, I had already noticed a reduction in my hair loss and this product has therefore enhanced the effects of the previous ones.
🤑 With this box, I also saved £14.80!
🔸 My fourth box: for long lashes and to perfect my hair care
This is the box I received this month. To my surprise, I found not 3 products but 2. This is because the lash serum is quite an expensive item, with a value of nearly £40.
I was quite surprised to receive an eyelash product in a hair-themed box, but this serum applies just like mascara to enhance the density and length of your lashes, which is indeed complementary to beautiful hair! I haven't used it enough yet to provide feedback on its effectiveness, but I am very pleased with its practicality.
In this box, I also received a fortifying shampoo like the one in the first set, but this one wasn't solid. It's much easier to carry if you're going away for a weekend or heading to the swimming pool, and so far, I've been really pleased with the effectiveness of this shampoo.
🤑 With this box, I saved £19.90!
🔸 A Brief Review of My 4 Luxeol Boxes: Shall I Continue or Stop?
I enjoyed receiving this hair care routine in a box, which allowed me to try out a variety of products suited to my hair (and even my eyelashes!).
🤑 I've also made some significant savings, close to £100 in total!
I think I will therefore continue for at least another two months, to stabilise the effects of the treatment and care. Since the subscription can now be cancelled at any time, this suits me perfectly.

Another option: order a Luxeol hair care routine
If you're not keen on the idea of a subscription box, you can easily order products individually from the Luxeol website. You can choose to order only dietary supplements, or enhance your treatment with a shampoo and additional care products for greater effectiveness.
When it comes to a routine, Luxeol categorises its products by "concern". This refers to issues related to your hair that you wish to address. For example, this might include:
- Reduce hair loss,
- Encourage hair growth,
- Strengthen brittle hair,
- Add thickness and promote eyelash growth,
- Repair and protect damaged hair,
- Shield your hair from the sun,
- Treat greasy hair, combat dandruff, or fight against greying hair.
When it comes to dietary supplements and topical lotions, Luxeol offers courses lasting several months, with decreasing prices based on the quantity purchased.
Luxeol treatment to combat hair loss, available on the brand's website for 1, 3, or 6 months
✅ If you do not wish to commit to a box subscription for 4 months, you can purchase a Luxeol treatment directly; however, this is often more expensive than if you were to buy the products through the box.
Can you gift a Luxeol box?
Would you like to gift a Luxeol subscription to someone in your circle? Currently, the brand does not yet offer a gift card. You will need to subscribe on their behalf as if it were for yourself, and then cancel it when you wish.
Additionally, it's not very practical, as the person must fill out the profile questionnaire themselves to obtain personalised products. I would therefore recommend offering a "voucher for a subscription to Luxeol" and completing the sign-up with the help of the intended recipient.
➡️ Who should you gift Luxeol to?
For the reasons mentioned in the previous lines, I would recommend giving Luxeol to someone close to you: your best friend, or a family member, for example. Given the personal nature of issues related to hair loss (such as post-pregnancy, stress, hereditary baldness, or androgenetic alopecia...), I suggest offering this gift to someone who desires shinier hair and wishes to explore new products, instead of focusing on combating hair loss. That said, there’s nothing stopping you from recommending this box to someone affected by these issues!

Are Luxeol products effective? Discover customer reviews!
For treating products like those offered by Luxeol, customer reviews are essential: they are what enable us to know if the products live up to their promises and are worth it. Let's take a look at what people are saying about the Luxeol brand! 😉
About the Luxeol Website
Luxeol has chosen to delegate the management of its customer reviews to the platform Verified Reviews. This means that all the reviews found on the site are from individuals who have ordered and tested the products. Overall, these reviews are typically very positive, with ratings above 4 out of 5 for various products and an overall rating of 9.4 out of 10 for Luxeol in general:
👉 However, we regret that there is no dedicated review section specifically for the Luxeol Box, to receive feedback not just on the quality of the products but on the quality of the service itself.
💚 What our customers loved:
- Fast delivery (for some),
- The affordable prices of products, especially during sales,
- The effectiveness of the products in terms of both hair growth and hair loss,
- The customer service which is "very attentive",
- The website's usability.

Example of a positive review from the site Verified Reviews
❌ They were less impressed
- Prices are sometimes higher on the website than in the pharmacy,
- In the box: too many shampoos,
- Delays on some orders,
- In the box: the lash serum, considered unnecessary by some customers.
Example of a mixed review from the Verified Reviews website
About Trustpilot
It is also possible to find reviews on the Trustpilot website, even though the brand has not claimed its profile on this platform and does not encourage its customers to leave reviews there.
The customer rating is 3.4 out of 5, which is average. However, upon reading the reviews, it becomes clear that there are very few customer reviews, specifically 4, and this is therefore not representative.

Luxeol is a French hair care and dietary supplements brand that has been in existence since 2016. In its introduction, the company promises to listen to its customers and to design the majority of its products in France.
Luxeol is a brand of the company Nutravalia, based in Mougins in the Alpes-Maritimes. It can be found on the Société.com website, which lists all French businesses:

When it comes to the composition of its products, Luxeol is very transparent and provides online a list of ingredients for each product, which can be reassuring for those with sensitivities or allergies.
Before being launched, each product undergoes testing. Additionally, the brand revealed in a Facebook post from 2018 that its entire range is cruelty-free, meaning not tested on animals.
The company can be contacted via a standard-rate customer service telephone line and an email address. However, it does not appear to publicly respond to reviews left by customers, whether they are positive or negative.

My Verdict on Luxeol
Following my hair loss due to Covid, I had high hopes for the Luxeol brand. By choosing this box, I was looking for a personalised treatment that would help me regain my hair volume and maintain its shine.
🧡 In the first two months, I didn't notice any significant changes. However, I enjoyed using the products, particularly the shampoos, which had a lovely fragrance. The gummies also taste quite nice, making it more enjoyable to take dietary supplements.
💛 From the third month, I noticed that my hair was shinier than before. It had also grown a little more than usual.
💙 Finally, today, after four months of treatment, I am delighted to see the regrowth of fine hairs at the front of my head, commonly known as baby hairs! My hair is shiny and less greasy, and I enjoy using Luxeol products.
I could cancel today, but I plan to continue the treatment for another two months to help my hair recover properly. I’m pleased with the products I've chosen, but spending £29.90 a month on my hair is a bit beyond my budget.
I'm just a bit sceptical about the eyelash product I received a month ago, which hasn't been miraculous so far. Moreover, I don't specifically have any issues with my eyelashes, so it wasn't really necessary.
I also find that the box contains a lot of shampoos, almost one for each month, which is a bit excessive. I would have liked to be able to pause my subscription for a month to use my existing products before receiving new ones, but unfortunately, that's not possible.
Finally, I would have liked to provide feedback on the Luxeol boxes so that the brand could adjust the contents of my box according to the changes in my hair situation.
✅ To summarise, I was pleased with the savings I made on Luxeol products through the box (over £100!), the quality of the products, and their effectiveness. I would have appreciated it if the money-back guarantee on the website also applied to the box, as that would have been more reassuring.
