My Opinion on GLOWRIA in 2024: Is It Worth the Price?

Until I discovered Glowria, beauty boxes didn’t really appeal to me. I was actually worried about being overwhelmed with all sorts of samples when I would have preferred full-sized products. However, what convinced me to subscribe was that the Glowria beauty box offers only full-sized products, meaning larger formats!

After having received and tested 3 boxes, I’m sharing my thoughts to help you determine whether this box is really worth it or not.

What is the Glowria Box?

How Does the Glowria Beauty Box (formerly Beautiful Box) Work?

Previously known as Beautiful box by au Féminin, this beauty box changed its name in January 2021 to become the Glowria box. It is a monthly subscription box that you receive at home, containing cosmetic products.

The unique feature of Glowria is that the products are sold in full-size format, meaning they are larger than the samples and miniatures typically found in other beauty boxes (such as Blissim, Lookfantastic, My Little Box...).

The products included in the Glowria box allow you to receive a new beauty routine every month, often accompanied by accessories such as masks, makeup sponges, and more...

Receiving a beauty box means getting an exciting surprise in your letterbox every month, allowing you to indulge in self-care and treat yourself regularly. 😉

Who is the Glowria box for?

On the Glowria website, we find that the box has been designed for all women. It is defined as:

• authentic,
• inclusive,
• and committed.

This desire to celebrate all types of beauty is one of the elements that attracted me to Glowria. The idea was already present in the previous Beautiful Box, but it is now embraced openly, which is wonderful!

What is the price of Glowria?

Unlike other beauty boxes that offer a variety of subscription options, Glowria keeps it simple by providing you with the choice of:

• A monthly subscription for £16.90 with automatic renewal,
• A yearly subscription for £185.

👉 The monthly subscription can be cancelled at any time from your customer account. The annual subscription commits you for a duration of twelve months; however, you will receive a free box. It's up to you to decide!

For my part, I preferred to play it safe by opting for a monthly subscription with automatic renewal. I was confident I could pause or cancel it if the box no longer appealed to me, for example.

What are the different payment methods offered by Glowria?

Even if you opt for a monthly subscription, payments on Glowria can be made either via Paypal or your credit card. This means that if your credit card expires during your subscription, you must remember to update your information with the new card to continue receiving your box.

When ordering a beauty box online, it's hard to know what to expect, and there's always a worry of being disappointed. This is particularly true with Glowria, as the website doesn't show us previous boxes.

Upon opening the box, I discovered:

🤑 The total value of the products, not including the beautifully designed box itself, is £75. For the price of the box, £16.90, the savings amount to over £58! In terms of value, the Glowria box is therefore very appealing.

Can you give a Glowria subscription as a gift? 🎁

It’s a shame, but Glowria does not yet offer a gift card with an activatable code like you can find with My Little Box, for example. To subscribe someone of your choice, you have two options:

• Sign up for a monthly payment plan and cancel whenever you wish for the subscription to end,
• Opt for an annual offer to give a wonderful gift!

👉 If you choose one of these solutions, all you need to do is provide the name and address of the recipient when you sign up, at the point where you need to enter the delivery address. 😉

Who should you gift a Glowria box to?

A subscription box is the perfect gift for a friend, your mum, your partner, or even a little sister, a cousin, a niece, and so on. An annual subscription can make for a lovely group gift!

My Verdict on the Glowria Box ⭐⭐⭐

After three months of subscription, here is my opinion on the Glowria box. Having previously subscribed to other beauty boxes, particularly My Little Box, I really appreciated that Glowria offers full-sized products at an unbeatable price.

If you're looking to discover new products and save money by signing up for a straightforward subscription, this is the box I recommend.

👉 Another detail that I appreciated is receiving two boxes in the summer, one for July and one for August, where most competitors typically send a double box. That makes for two lovely surprises!

However, I found the Glowria box to be less engaging in terms of its community compared to others. The themes of the boxes are somewhat less original and occasionally a bit repetitive. There are times when you receive quite similar products from one month to the next.

How to Cancel Your Glowria Subscription?

Glowria allows you to pause your subscription for a few months without necessarily cancelling it. To do this, simply go to your customer area, then navigate to the My Subscriptions section. Next, click on "View Details", then "Pause".

👉 This will pause the box starting from the following month, for the chosen duration (1, 2, or 3 months).
