🔸 My Needs: Strengthening My Hair After a Hair Fall

After a pretty exhausting covid infection I caught at the start of winter, I started noticing that my hair was much more brittle and had lost its shine. I was also losing a lot of hair while styling it in the morning. After checking with my doctor that this hair loss wasn't serious, I began looking for a comprehensive treatment to restore my hair to how it was a few months ago. That's when I decided to try the Luxeol box.

  • Strength and growth gummies to help my hair grow back, using a natural ingredient: field horsetail. Made in France, these gummies taste like delicious sweets, making them very easy to take!

In my second box, I received some goodies to pamper my hair and restore its natural shine:

  • A gentle shampoo that I use alternately with a strengthening shampoo, to avoid irritating my scalp,
  • A strengthening mask that I apply once a week for ten minutes to boost my hair's strength,
  • Castor oil that I've been using on both my hair and nails, which were quite weak! It worked wonders, and they have become much more resilient in just a few weeks,
  • A surprise gift, which is sunscreen oil to protect my hair from the early sun rays—definitely appreciated at the start of this lovely spring!

🔸 My third box: continuing the hair care journey

  • A repairing shampoo, which I use after swimming or when my hair feels weak from heat styling or blow-drying,
  • A strengthening conditioner, which has replaced the anti-hair loss conditioner from the first box, which I had finished,
  • Some hair loss capsules, to be taken daily with a glass of water, for thirty days. At this point, I had already noticed a reduction in my hair loss, and this product has effectively boosted the results from the previous treatments.

🔸 My fourth box: for long lashes and perfecting my hair care routine

This is the box I received this month. To my surprise, it contained not 3 products, but only 2. This is because the eyelash serum is a very expensive product, costing nearly S$60.

I was quite surprised to receive a product for my eyelashes in a box meant for hair, but this serum is applied like mascara to enhance the density and length of lashes, which indeed complements beautiful hair! I haven't used it enough to give feedback on its effectiveness yet, but I'm very pleased with its convenience.

In this box, I also received a strengthening shampoo similar to the one from the first set, but this one wasn't solid. It's quite convenient to carry when going away for the weekend or heading to the pool, and so far, I'm very happy with how effective this shampoo is.

🔸 A Quick Review of My 4 Luxeol Box Sets: Should I Continue or Stop?

I really enjoyed receiving this hair care routine in a box, which allowed me to try out many products that are suitable for my hair (and even for my lashes!).

Additionally, it’s not very practical as the person needs to fill out the profile questionnaire by themselves to receive personalized products. Therefore, I recommend giving a "voucher for a Luxeol subscription" and completing the signup with the help of the intended recipient.

      My Verdict on Luxeol

      Following my hair loss due to COVID, I had high hopes for the Luxeol brand. By choosing this box, I was looking for a personalised care solution that would help me regain my hair volume and maintain its shine.

      🧡 In the first two months, I didn't notice any significant changes. However, I enjoyed using the products, especially the shampoos which had a lovely scent. The gummies also tasted quite nice, making it more pleasant to take my supplements.

      💛 From the third month, I noticed that my hair was shinier than before. It also seemed to grow slightly faster than usual.

      💙 Finally, today, after four months of treatment, I am delighted to see the regrowth of fine hair at the front of my head, what we call baby hairs! My hair is shiny and less oily, and I'm enjoying using Luxeol products.

      I could cancel today, but I intend to continue the treatment for another two months to help my hair recover properly. I'm happy with the products I've chosen, but spending $29.90 every month on my hair is a bit beyond my budget.
