My Take on GLOWRIA in 2024: Is It Worth the Price?

Before I discovered Glowria, I wasn't very interested in beauty boxes. I was worried I would be overwhelmed with all sorts of samples when what I really wanted were full-sized products. However, what caught my interest and made me want to subscribe was that Glowria’s beauty box offers only full-sized products, which means you get the big sizes!

After receiving and testing 3 boxes, I’ll share my thoughts so you can decide if this box is really worth it or not.

How Does the Glowria Beauty Box Work (formerly Beautiful Box)?

Previously known as Beautiful Box by au Féminin, this beauty box rebranded to the Glowria Box in January 2021. It's a monthly subscription box that you receive at home, packed with cosmetic products.

The unique feature of Glowria is that the products are in full-size format, meaning they are larger, unlike the samples and miniatures typically found in other beauty boxes (like Blissim, Lookfantastic, My Little Box...).

This commitment to celebrate all types of beauty is one of the aspects that attracted me to Glowria. The idea was already present in the previous Beautiful box, but it is now embraced openly, and that is delightful!

What is the price of Glowria?

Unlike other beauty boxes that offer a variety of subscription options, Glowria keeps it simple by giving you a choice between:

• A monthly subscription at S$16.90 with automatic renewal,
• A annual subscription at S$185.

👉 The monthly subscription can be cancelled anytime from your account dashboard. The annual subscription commits you for a duration of twelve months, but you’ll receive one free box. It’s up to you to make your choice!

For me, I preferred to opt for the security of a monthly subscription that auto-renews. I was confident that I could pause or cancel it if I no longer liked the box, for example.

What are the different payment methods offered by Glowria?

Even if you opt for a monthly subscription, payment on Glowria can be made either through Paypal or using your credit card. This means that if your credit card expires during your subscription, don't forget to update it with the new card details to continue receiving your box.

It's quite unfortunate, but Glowria doesn't offer a gift card with an activatable code like you can find with My Little Box, for instance. To gift a subscription to someone of your choice, you have two options:

• Sign up for a monthly payment plan and cancel whenever you wish for the subscription to end,
• Opt for an annual plan to give a lovely gift!

After three months of subscription, here’s my review on the Glowria box. Having been subscribed to other beauty boxes before, such as My Little Box, I really appreciated that Glowria offers full-sized products at an unbeatable price.

If you're looking to explore new products while saving money with a straightforward subscription, this is the box I recommend.

👉 Another detail that I appreciated is the two boxes delivered in the summer, one for July and another for August, whereas most competitors usually send just one double box. That means two surprises!

However, I found that the Glowria box has a smaller community appeal compared to others. The themes of the boxes are a bit less original and can sometimes feel a bit repetitive. There are times when you receive quite similar products from one month to the next.

Glowria allows you to pause your subscription for a few months without having to cancel it. To do this, simply go to your customer account, then navigate to the My Subscriptions section. Next, click on "View Details", and then "Pause".
