Would you like to have beautiful hair? Are you worried about its vitality? For many of us, having gorgeous hair is a key part of self-confidence. When it loses its luster or when you're losing a lot of hair, it can be a source of concern.
Following a hair loss, I started testing Luxeol products four months ago, thanks to the customised box offered by this brand. I can now share whether it worked for me: let me take you through the Luxeol box and my thoughts on it in the following lines!

👍 I loved it
- The quality of Luxeol products,
- The visible effect on my hair regrowth (it’s faster!),
- The shine and strength of my hair,
- The discount offered by the box on Luxeol products,
- Discovering a box solely dedicated to hair wellness.
❌ What I Liked Less
- The Money-Back Guarantee that doesn’t apply to the box,
- No option to pause my subscription for a month,
- No gift card system.
How does the Luxeol box work?
When looking for hair care products, it can sometimes be difficult to choose the ones that suit us. Additionally, as shampoos don't run out at the same rate as dietary supplements, you constantly need to repurchase products.
To make your life easier, Luxeol, a brand specialised in hair care, now offers a subscription to a customised box. This is the product I had the chance to try for four months: each month, I received the box straight to my letterbox, containing a selection of two or three products tailored to my hair concerns.
According to the results from the survey you completed when registering, you may have hair care products available to you:
- Men 👨 or women 👩
- Long, medium, or short,
- Straight, curly, wavy, or frizzy,
- Damaged from the heat of straighteners or curling irons,
- Natural, curly from a perm, coloured or highlighted,
- Oily or dry,
- With dandruff...
Luxeol also specialises in tackling hair loss, which can be a source of concern for many men and women. The profile questionnaire allows you to assess your hair loss and regrowth, enabling you to receive products specifically tailored to your needs.
👉 Not a fan of tablets? The Luxeol box caters to your preferences by asking you at the end of the hair profile questionnaire what type of dietary supplement you prefer. The offer is tailored to provide you with either:
- Capsules that you can swallow with water,
- A drinkable supplement,
- Gummies, which are like little sweets to chew.
The Luxeol box comes with a 4-month commitment period. Once this period is finished, you have the option to cancel at any time. It is therefore perfect for conducting a hair care treatment, which typically lasts between 4 and 6 months.
Who is Luxeol for?
The Luxeol box is suitable for both men and women. As mentioned earlier, the products address most hair-related issues.
This subscription system is suitable for:
- For those who are not satisfied with their hair and want to take care of it using a reputable brand,
- For people experiencing reactive hair loss, baldness, or androgenetic alopecia,
- For anyone who would like a complete hair care solution without having to worry about what to choose,
- For those who would love to try Luxeol products but find them too expensive.
How much does Luxeol cost?
The Luxeol box offers a competitive price for the first month, with a special deal at $9.90. After that, each month costs $29.90. This price includes:
- Hair diagnosis,
- An average of 3 Luxeol products, retail size, tailored to your hair,
- Free delivery.
👉 To summarise, the pricing for Luxeol box is very straightforward:

What’s in the Luxeol box?
To help you better visualise what this box contains, I'm going to share the contents of the four boxes I've received so far.
🔸 My Needs: Strengthening My Hair After Hair Loss
After contracting a rather exhausting Covid at the start of winter, I noticed that my hair was much more brittle and had lost its shine. I was also losing quite a bit of hair while styling it in the morning. After checking with my doctor that this hair loss wasn't serious, I started looking for a complete treatment to restore my hair to how it was a few months ago. That's when I decided to try the Luxeol box.
🔸 My first box: everything I need to strengthen my hair
In this box, I received:
- A fortifying shampoo, which I applied to my hair two to three times a week, leaving it on before rinsing. Since the shampoo is of high quality, you don’t need to use a large amount.
- An anti-hair loss conditioner to complement the shampoo, specifically targeting hair loss. This is a product that needs to be left on for 5 minutes, but it’s very pleasant to use.
- Strength and growth gummies to help my hair regrow, featuring a natural ingredient: field horsetail. Made in France, these gummies are like delicious sweets, making them really easy to take!
🤑 In total, I saved $44.80 with this box! If I had bought my products separately from Luxeol's website or at a pharmacy, it would have cost me over $50.
🔸 My second box: treatments to protect my hair
In my second box, I received some goodies to pamper my hair and restore its natural shine:
- A gentle shampoo, which I use alongside the strengthening one to avoid irritating my scalp,
- A strengthening mask, which I apply once a week for ten minutes to bolster my hair,
- Castor oil, which I've been able to use on my hair as well as my nails, which were quite brittle! It's been super effective, and they've become more resilient in just a few weeks,
- A surprise gift, some sun protection oil to shield my hair from the first rays of sunlight, greatly appreciated during this lovely early spring!
🤑 With this box, I've saved $14.80!
🔸 My third box: Continuing the hair care journey
When I received my third box, I discovered:
- A repair shampoo, which I use after going to the pool or when my hair has been weakened by straightening or blow-drying,
- A fortifying conditioner, which has replaced the anti-hair loss conditioner from the first box that I had finished,
- Hair loss capsules, to be taken daily with a glass of water for thirty days. At this stage, I had already noticed a reduction in my hair loss, and this product has therefore enhanced the effects of the previous ones.
🤑 With this box, I also saved $14.80!
🔸 My fourth box: for longer eyelashes and perfecting my hair care
This is the box I received this month. In it, I was surprised to find not 3 products, but 2. This is because the lash serum is quite an expensive product, worth nearly $40.
I was quite surprised to receive an eyelash product in a hair box, but this serum applies like mascara to enhance the density and length of your lashes, which definitely complements having beautiful hair! I haven't used it enough yet to provide feedback on its effectiveness, but I'm very pleased with its practicality.
In this box, I also received a fortifying shampoo similar to the one in the first set, but this one wasn't solid. It's pretty convenient to carry when heading away for the weekend or going to the pool, and so far I am very pleased with the effectiveness of this shampoo.
🤑 With this box, I’ve saved $19.90!
🔸 A Quick Review of My 4 Luxeol Boxes: Should I Keep Going or Stop?
I really enjoyed receiving this hair care routine in a box, as it allowed me to try out a range of products that were suited to my hair (and even to my eyelashes!).
🤑 I've managed to make some great savings, almost NZD 100 in total!
I think I will therefore continue for at least another two months, to stabilise the effects of the treatment and care. Since the subscription can now be cancelled at any time, this works perfectly for me.

Another option: order a Luxeol hair care routine
If you're not keen on the idea of a box, you can definitely order the products individually from the Luxeol website. You can choose to order just the dietary supplements, or enhance your treatment with a shampoo and other care products for added effectiveness.
For a routine, Luxeol sorts its products by "concern". These are actually issues related to your hair that you want to address. For instance, this could include:
- Reduce hair loss,
- Encourage hair growth,
- Strengthen brittle hair,
- Densify and promote eyelash growth,
- Repair and protect damaged hair,
- Shield your hair from the sun,
- Treat oily hair, tackle dandruff, or combat grey hair.
When it comes to dietary supplements and topical lotions, Luxeol offers multi-month treatment plans at discounted prices based on the quantity purchased.
Luxeol treatment to combat hair loss, available on the brand's website for 1, 3, or 6 months
✅ If you don't want to commit to a four-month subscription box, you can purchase a Luxeol treatment directly. However, this is usually more expensive than if you ordered the products through the subscription box.
Can you give a Luxeol box as a gift?
Are you looking to gift a Luxeol subscription to someone close to you? Currently, the brand does not offer gift cards yet. So, you'll need to subscribe on their behalf as if it were for yourself, and then you can cancel it whenever you wish.
Furthermore, it's not very practical as the person has to fill out the profile questionnaire themselves to receive personalised products. I would therefore recommend giving a "voucher for a Luxeol subscription" and completing the subscription with the help of the recipient.
➡️ Who should you gift Luxeol to?
For the reasons mentioned earlier, I would recommend giving Luxeol to someone close to you: your best friend or a family member, for instance. Given the personal nature of issues related to hair loss (such as postpartum, stress, hereditary baldness, or androgenetic alopecia...), I suggest gifting this product to someone who wants shinier hair and to explore new products, rather than someone who is struggling with hair loss. That said, there’s nothing stopping you from recommending this box to someone who is affected!

Are Luxeol products effective? Discover customer reviews!
For treatment products like those offered by Luxeol, customer reviews are crucial: they are what help us determine whether the products live up to their claims and if they're worth it. Let's take a look at what people are saying about the Luxeol brand! 😉
About the Luxeol Website
Luxeol has chosen to delegate the management of its customer reviews to the platform Verified Reviews. This means that all the reviews you find on the site are from people who have ordered and tested the products. Overall, these reviews are generally very positive, with ratings above 4 out of 5 for the various products and an overall score of 9.4 out of 10 for Luxeol as a whole:
👉 However, we regret that there is no dedicated review section specifically for the Luxeol Box, as we are looking for feedback not just on the quality of the products but also on the quality of service.
💚 Customers loved:
- Fast delivery (for some),
- Affordable product prices, especially during sales,
- The effectiveness of the products in promoting hair growth and reducing hair loss,
- The customer service that is "very attentive",
- The website's usability.

Example of a positive review from the Verified Reviews site
❌ They didn’t enjoy it as much
- Prices can sometimes be higher on the website than at the pharmacy,
- In the box: too many shampoos,
- Delays on certain orders,
- In the box: the eyelash serum, considered unnecessary by some customers.
Example of a mixed review from the site Verified Opinions
About Trustpilot
You can also find reviews on Trustpilot, even though the brand has not claimed its profile on this platform and does not encourage its customers to leave reviews there.
The rating given by customers is 3.4 out of 5, which is average. However, upon reading the reviews, we notice that there are very few customer reviews, specifically 4, and therefore it is not representative.

My Verdict on Luxeol
Following my hair loss due to Covid, I had high hopes for the Luxeol brand. By choosing this box, I was hoping for personalised care that would help me regain my hair volume and maintain its shine.
🧡 In the first two months, I didn't notice any significant changes. However, I enjoyed using the products, especially the shampoos, which smelled lovely. The gummies also had a pretty nice flavour, making it more enjoyable to take dietary supplements.
💛 From the third month, I noticed that my hair was shinier than before. It had also grown a bit more than usual.
💙 Finally, today, after four months of treatment, I’m delighted to see the regrowth of fine hair at the front of my scalp, often referred to as baby hair! My hair is shiny and less oily, and I'm enjoying using Luxeol products.
I could cancel today, but I plan to continue the treatment for another two months to help my hair recover properly. I'm happy with the products I've chosen, but spending $29.90 each month on my hair is a bit beyond my budget.
I'm just a little skeptical about the eyelash product I received a month ago, which hasn't been miraculous so far. Also, I don't really have any specific issues with my lashes, so it wasn't necessarily needed.
I’ve also found that the box contains lots of shampoos, almost one every month, which is a bit much. I would have liked to be able to pause it for a month so I could use my own products before new ones arrive, but unfortunately, that’s not possible.
In the end, I would have liked to provide feedback on each Luxeol box so that the brand could adjust the contents of my box based on the changing condition of my hair.
✅ In summary, I enjoyed the savings made with the Luxeol box (over $100!), the quality of the products, and their effectiveness. I would have appreciated if the site's satisfaction or money-back guarantee applied to the box as well; it would have been more reassuring.
