My Take on GLOWRIA in 2024: Is It Worth the Price?

Until I discovered Glowria, beauty boxes didn’t really appeal to me. I was worried about being overwhelmed with samples of all sorts when what I really wanted were full-sized products. However, what convinced me to subscribe is that the Glowria beauty box offers only full-sized products!

After having received and tested 3 boxes, I’d like to share my thoughts so you can decide whether this box is worth it or not.

What is the Glowria Box?

• No personalisation based on profile,
• The boxes are quite repetitive,

How does the Glowria beauty box (formerly Beautiful Box) work?

Previously known as Beautiful box by au Féminin, this beauty box changed its name in January 2021 to become the Glowria box. It's a monthly box delivered to your home, containing a selection of cosmetic products.

The unique feature of Glowria is that the products are in full-size format, which means they are larger compared to the samples and miniatures typically found in other beauty boxes (such as Blissim, Lookfantastic, My Little Box...).

The products in the Glowria box allow you to receive a new beauty routine each month, often accompanied by accessories like masks, makeup sponges, and more...

Receiving a beauty box means getting a unique surprise in your mailbox each month, allowing you to pamper yourself and take care of your daily routine. 😉

Who is the Glowria box for?

On the Glowria site, it’s clear that the box has been designed for all women. It is described as:

• and committed.

This commitment to celebrating all forms of beauty is one of the things that drew me to Glowria. The concept was already present in the previous Beautiful Box, but it is now fully embraced, which is wonderful!

What is the price of Glowria?

Unlike other beauty boxes that offer a variety of subscription options, Glowria keeps it simple by giving you the choice between:

• A monthly subscription for NZD 16.90 with automatic renewal,
• A yearly subscription for NZD 185.

👉 The monthly subscription can be cancelled at any time from your account area. The annual subscription locks you in for twelve months, but you do get one free box. It's up to you to decide!

For me, I preferred to opt for security with a monthly subscription that automatically renews. I was confident that I could pause or cancel it if I no longer liked the subscription box, for instance.

What are the different payment methods offered by Glowria?

Even if you choose a monthly subscription, payments on Glowria can be made via PayPal or your credit card. This means if your credit card expires during your subscription, you need to remember to update your details with the new card information to keep receiving your box.

👉 For my part, I've chosen to pay via PayPal, which I find convenient and secure! 😉

When ordering a beauty box online, it’s hard to know what to expect, and it's natural to worry about being disappointed. This is especially true with Glowria, as the site doesn’t display previous boxes.

🤑 The total value of the products, not including the beautiful box itself, is €75. For the price of the box, which is €16.90, you save over €58! So when it comes to price, the Glowria box is definitely a great deal.

Can you gift a subscription to Glowria? 🎁

It's a pity, but Glowria still doesn't offer a gift card with an activation code like you can find with My Little Box, for example. To subscribe someone of your choice, you have two options:

• Sign up for a monthly payment plan and cancel whenever you want the subscription to end,
• Choose an annual plan for a fantastic gift!

👉 If you choose one of these options, simply provide the name and address of the recipient when you sign up, during the delivery address section. 😉

Who should you gift a Glowria box to?

A subscription box makes the perfect gift for a friend, your mum, your partner, or even a little sister, a cousin, a niece, and so on. An annual subscription can be a lovely group gift!

Glowria belongs to the company Aufeminin, which has been operating in France for 22 years. It started as an online magazine dedicated to women. Aufeminin itself has been part of the TF1 group since 2019.

Glowria offers a phone support service 📞, but it's only available from 10 am to 12 pm, Monday to Friday. You can also send a message 📩 through a contact form.

My Verdict on the Glowria Box ⭐⭐⭐

After three months of subscription, here’s my take on the Glowria box. Having previously subscribed to other beauty boxes, including My Little Box, I really appreciated that Glowria offers full-sized products at an unbeatable price.

If you're looking to discover new products and save some money with an easy subscription, this is the box I recommend.

👉 Another detail I appreciated is receiving two boxes in summer, one for July and one for August, while competitors usually send out a double box. That means two surprises!

However, I found the Glowria box to be less engaging in terms of its community compared to others. The themes of the boxes are a bit less original and can sometimes feel a bit repetitive. There are times when you receive fairly similar products from one month to the next.

How to cancel your Glowria subscription?

Glowria allows you to pause your subscription for a few months without having to cancel it completely. To do this, simply go to your account area, then navigate to the My Subscriptions section. After that, click on "View Details", and then "Pause".

👉 This will pause the subscription box starting from the following month, for the chosen duration (1, 2, or 3 months).

How to unsubscribe from Glowria (formerly Beautiful Box)?

Want to permanently cancel your subscription? To do this, you need to go to your client area, then navigate to the "my subscriptions" menu. Next, select your subscription and click on "View details", then "Unsubscribe".

👉 You will still receive the current month's box: your Glowria cancellation will take effect from the following month!
