Should I subscribe to GLOSSYBOX in 2024? Here’s my take on this beauty box!

To give you an idea of what to expect when you receive your box, I’d like to share with you the contents of the Glossybox for May 2022, themed "Perfectly Imperfect".

Upon receiving this box filled with positive and warm colours, I got to discover:

I particularly loved the exfoliating sponge, which is super handy for washing my body and relaxing. I especially got to try it with the cleansing oil that came in the set, creating a fantastic duo.

The highlighter is a quality product that matches my skin tone. I'll be using it this summer! The firming serum is also a lovely find, with its non-sticky texture and pleasant orange scent. It's best applied in the evening, as it takes time to absorb into the skin.

Finally, Glossybox also included in this box a top-quality Banana Beauty lip pencil! The colour doesn't quite suit me, but my little sister loved it when I gave it to her! 😉

It's a reliable company, run by a well-known larger group. However, as it is based in the United Kingdom, contacting them by phone isn't an option. For returns, Glossybox has warehouses in Europe, which helps avoid any customs issues related to Brexit. The brand has also communicated to reassure its customers on this matter.

On review sites like Trustpilot, the brand takes the time to respond to its customers, but always with a standard, copy-pasted reply. I recommend that you contact them directly through the form available on your "My Account" page on the Glossybox website. The brand typically responds within 24 hours on weekdays.

My verdict on Glossybox

🧡 Glossybox is a beauty box that doesn’t revolutionise the genre, but it has one undeniable advantage: its affordable price! Compared to competitors like MyLittleBox or Biotyfull Box, which offer more expensive options, the price of NZ$12.50 for receiving a beauty box every month for a year is very appealing!

💛 I also appreciated the quality of the products and the different themes of the gift boxes. The website is very clear and well-explained: it makes you want to place an order, and you don't feel like you're being scammed.

💜 I also loved the concept of limited editions, which are perfect for giving thoughtful gifts to our loved ones. Next year, I know exactly what I'll be gifting my mum for Mother's Day!

It included cosmetic products, hair care items, moisturisers for the skin, makeup... just the thing to pamper yourself during winter! I can't wait to see what the brand will offer us for 2022. 😊

Most of the time, the brand directly offers a promotional code applicable to the box of the month, which appears on the banner of the homepage.
