Having a cat and a dog at home, I tried Japhy initially for my dog, who can be a bit picky, and then for my cat. Here’s my verdict!

How Does Japhy Work?

Japhy offers you a subscription that allows you to receive tailored food (kibble and pâté) for your pet, whether it’s a dog or a cat, delivered right to your home or to a pickup location.

What Criteria Are Considered?

The initial questionnaire helps to better understand your pet’s profile, allowing you to provide a diet that perfectly meets their needs.

You will therefore be asked:

• Type: dog or cat,
• Name (to personalize packaging and make the experience fun),
• Gender,
• Is he or she spayed/neutered,
• What breed is he or she (you can list up to two),
• Age,
• Activity level (inactive, moderately active, or very active),
• Body condition (underweight, average, or a bit overweight),

How Does the Japhy Subscription Work?

After your initial 15-day trial, Japhy will prompt you to set up your subscription. If you decide to cancel at that time, that’s completely fine because Japhy has no commitment.

🐶 Your pet is receiving kibble that is truly tailored to their lifestyle, characteristics, and preferences, helping to keep them happy and healthy.

👉 You can also choose pâtés, which I did for my cat Orion who enjoys having them from time to time.

📦 Delivery is available to your home or at a pickup location. You can choose a basic frequency:

• Every month,
• Every two months,
• Every three months.

However, if you ever need to move your next delivery date either forward or backward, it’s not a problem at all. Just let us know in your customer portal.

👉 For my part, I had to change the date once because I had taken in another dog at home and fed him my dog Nomad’s kibble for a few days. It all went smoothly!

👉 The toys that were sent are of great quality, and the treats are truly convenient for practicing positive reinforcement training with my dog!

Since the price of kibble is determined by various factors, I can’t provide you with the exact price you’ll pay, but I can give you a reference scale.

👉 For my 22-pound dog and my 11-pound cat, I pay around $40 and $30 per month, respectively.

My Verdict on Japhy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ever since I decided to have pets at home, it has been important for me to take good care of them. That’s why I purchased their kibble from the vet or a specialty pet store.

However, I was never really satisfied with these kibble options that, despite their price, contained many additives and were quite greasy. So, I searched for an alternative, especially for my dog, Nomad, a 5-year-old Shetland sheepdog who often has digestive issues.
